i think the point about food places being open 24 hours really depends on the area and the type of food place. i remember when i used to work closing shifts, the only places that would be open at 10 were fast food. if i wanted food, i either had to get fast food, or hope i had something at home to heat up

Biscuits are generally made with buttermilk. As you'll often see Fresh Buttermilk Biscuits advertised. Biscuits are used for breakfast sandwiches and biscuits and gravy. See #3. 3) Gravy. There are many different kinds of gravy. Gravies are made by using the fat from whatever meat you're cooking plus flour and milk. White gravy is used on biscuits and it is a delicious breakfast dish that originated in the Deep South during the Slavery Days. It's cheap to make and is very filling. The best kind of gravy is sausage gravy. It's white with chunks of sausage in it. You smother the biscuits in that gravy which softens up the biscuits and it's super delicious.
