- This video is about the best mineral powder foundation on the market, in my opinion it's the best high-coverage mineral foundation ever and will not clog pores or irritate your skin.
This powder has been in my beauty arsenal for a decade or longer in the color Warm Silk, and is probably my most used product.
I’ve gotten hundreds people hooked on it already…literally every single client who's tried it, is now converted!

I loooovvvveeee my Jane iredale foundation! It doesn’t make me look all dry and dusty like some powders. Just glowy and natural. It’s the bomb!!! 💕
Yessss, I find other powders to be more drying and dusty too, while this one gives me a glow that looks like my skin but better! SO GOOD! ❤️❤️❤️

I also have a stash. I also use the amazing base. I use several different shades since my skin gets color during warmer months when I get more sun. Only thing is... the amazing base feels a little wired on my skin sometimes. I think it is the dimethicone. Even tho the pressed has it; it is more finely milled I think. I have other powders that do not feel the same way so it is something about the JI however with that said, I LOVE these powders. Have loved JI for almost 30 years. And silk naturals is wonderful too; I have a few things from them as well. I have been lucky and got some JI powders on eBay for much cheaper. All authentic. Happy day! 🙂

Hola, me encanto tu video, vengo de Colombia y lastimosamente este producto aun no esta disponible en mi pais. Utilizaba los polvos dermablend de la marca Vichy que era el único que me gustaba pero el color que usaba era terrible, parecía color ladrillo(y eso que es el mas claro). Hasta que vi tu video y la verdad decidí comprarlo en la pagina oficial, lastima que el envio me cuesta la mitad de lo que vale el producto pero estoy segura que valdrá la pena la compra. Gracias por pensar en mujeres como nosotras que sufrimos de piel mixta a grasa con tendencia acneica y no podemos usar cualquier maquillaje debido a que todo nos hace daño.

Is this powder also fungal acne safe?
I relate a lot with putting on makeup in order to get on with life. I rarely wear makeup to the gym but if I have a massive pimple I'll put a bit of concealer so I don't have to be concious of it everytime I walk by a mirror (which are every where in the gym) and just focus on my training technique and posture.

I use Alima Pure make up they have mineral powders and I love them 🥰.
I stopped using this foundation at least 9 months ago and I have no idea why!! I just pulled it back out today and omg it is amazing!!! My skin always looks so flawless and natural when I use this. I've been using it on and off for almost a decade as well and I think it will forever be my favourite foundation. I do wish they made a version that didn't have SPF though for night use as I always get flashback...

Wow! I also use this and made me feel SO validated ! I have a question NO one has been able to answer. Estheticians usually push the jane iredale sprays to set this - do you use them or just straight powder? They contain orrange peel and grapefruit extract which I considered potential irritants but they always claim its safe :S

Hi Olena. I never liked mineral powders on me. They accentuated the texture of my skin (which isn't reallt smooth), looked cakey and made the skin look very flaky. Never provided enough coverage and my skin would look everything but polished. But since you're so enthusiastic about this one I might try it. Does it cover hyperpigmentation from spots? Also, would love your help with the colors. I'm very pale, not sure if like you or even paler (hard to tell from a camera). But I know I'm around NC10 in Mac. Very pale, with a neutral/yellow undertone (I look yellow, but a cold kind of yellow, not golden). I've read you used 51 from Healthy mix, on me that lookss bit pinkish. I was thinking about bisque? Also, do you use/know the pommist spray by Jane Iredale recommended on top of the powder? Thanks a lot
Used the JI for years , until I discovered the Tarte Amazonian Clay airbrush foundation. AMAZING. The JI can look a little cakey when you go for a heavier coverage. The Tarte never does. And a great INCI too .

This probably sound weird but can i apply Jane Iredale powder foundation with a beauty blender ? As I find when I use a brush my rosacea prone skin it flares up and itches....
I really like the Mineral Fusion powder foundation which is pretty affordable, but maybe I’ll try this one some day :)

How would you suggest sunscreen reapplication atop this foundation? I have a mineral sunscreen by Paula's Choice that leaves a pretty distinctive white cast. I'm hoping this foundation will help mask that, but I'm concerned with the 2/3-hour sunscreen reapplication that's of course needed every day. Would you consider this foundation safe to reapply every 2 to 3 hours as I do with my mineral sunscreen? Thanks so much!

Do you know if all their powdery products non-pore clogging? Or only those colors are that you reviewed in your blog (I prefer matte and peachy tones) ?

Yay that's great! Not sure re Amazon, probably wouldn't off Ebay. I purchase mine on official JI resellers or directly through JI, or in person at various spas :)
What clean sunscreen is the best to use?

Hi Olena! I got this powder after watching your blog and it seems to not work for me :s i noticed that my skin feels tighter, looks slightly redder, and stings on the days i wear this. I feel like it’s the Zinc Oxide in it? Maybe it’s too drying for my skin or maybe my skin’s just too sensitive? Still on the lookout for a good powder, too bad coz I’ve been wanting Jane Iredale to work for me :( hope they could take away the zinc oxide in their powders, i read they act as an astringent too.
I would look into your skincare routine and provide adequate hydration and sunscreen before writing off this powder because I've seen it work for the most sensitive and driest skin types. I don't know where you source your info about zinc oxide since it's one of the best ingredients ever.

Olena Beley I’ve tried other mineral makeup that contains boron nitride and they all irritate my skin and make it itch. The only mineral makeup I can find that doesn’t irritate my skin is cover FX pressed mineral powder.

Hi there, no I haven't because it's clogging and I tend to stay away from liquid foundations in general, preferring this powder one. I even wore it to my wedding -- it has super buildable coverage that can be VERY high. 🤗

I think the only thing that frustrates me about u is that when u do videos like this (basically reviewing) YOU NEVER TEST THE PRODUCT ON CAMERA. Omg it urks me, you talk about skin yet u wont show how ur natural skin looks as if youre trying to hide something, youre always wearing makeup. At least other dermatologists or skincare gurus show their natural skin and try to do the demos. Please i would really appreciate it if you could at least do a skincare routine or apply ur everyday makeup.
Another thing before anyone comments, yes ive seen her ig account, however, i have been a photographer/graphic designer for 10+ years and i can tell when someone edits skin texture. In all your "natural face" photos, they are all edited, i cant even see little pores, wrinkles etc, and i know that u have them and so does every one else.
Can't please them all! I've been following Olena for 9 months and she literally shows unedited natural skin in her stories almost daily. She's done side-by-side stories showing how her skin looks using different iPhone front-facing cameras. This woman hides nothing. You see what you want to see and find what you want to find, Ia Sa.
This isn't a product selling channel, but an information channel. Notice how much I actually say before I show the product? I want to help people understand the why behind the what, and not just peddle products -- this is why I do so few product reviews.
As for wearing makeup, I wear very little actual makeup (no liquid foundation ever, a little concealer, and this mineral powder foundation + blushes) -- my private Cure It With Love Coaching Community contains actual tutorials where I put on makeup, and show my community all my fave products and how I apply them.
I've seen people in this space who NEVER show up without makeup, and always use filters...and I am not that person. I show up almost every day without makeup, usually with eye boogers in my eyes on Instagram. I also show close-up photos of my face at awkward angles regularly to show my audience what real skin looks like -- pores and all. These RUclips videos also have no filters because I'm against filters.
