awesome video and lots to take from it and try myself. Cheers Adam
try it, bud! cheers
Top man Adam. Love your down to earth nature. Tune sounds top drawer too!!!!
Agree about parallel compression. Seems to me it's a gimmick!!!
That sub-bass note dividing - i first saw that from Mark Sherry, when he showed some tutorial videos back in the day. That's quite genious, because somehow I was always struggling to get that compressor right, when I put it on one single channel of SUB. In this way, it's much more easy, and immediate result. Great to see that another ace is using this technique. ;) Awesome video Adam. :) Cheers!
Yeah fuck compressors. Manual all the way mate
Wow track sounding great guys. Thanks Adam the part about the multiple sub channels is really handy. Was always battling with the compressor and limiter to level. Will be doing this from now on 🙏🙌❤️
Thanks for sharing your experience! give it a try and you will see a change in your tracks
Great and detailed tutorial as always mate, thank you 👍

What are Your thoughts about making a remix competition for subscribers in the future? Refreshing one of Your older tracks by Your viewers.
100% mate. Maybe 5000k subs
Wish mine sounded like that
i knew it. i knew compressing or adjusting subs to balance out the volume between notes was a real thing. i asked a producer i met about doing that and they turned me off of the idea. also, wow, the layering here is crazy.
Try both bro.
Try this.
Find the difference beteeen the loudest and quietest note (do this by adding each note on its own layer), let’s say it’s 6dB. Do it manually and then export it.
So, you’ve manually balanced the sub.
Then do a second version but without the extra layers, just do a compressor and compress it by the difference between the quietest to loudest sub volume. Export that.
Then see how it sounds. Does doing it manually make a difference? Il do a video on this too.
Adam i must say i really like your videos.. no hype RUclipsr speaker voice 😊 just relaxed and filled with great info.. I have heard a bit about making most under the 500 freq mark mono? On the master ?
I don’t adhere to silly hyped mixing tricks like they mate. No offence. Just best to keep it simple. It’s like people making bread with 19 ingredients when alll you need is water, flour and yeast 😅
bro, we want an extensive video on how you did the project. I always struggle with making basslines.
Coming soon!
A super video! I remember having the same problem when I upgraded from FL Studio 20 to 21. The entire project I was working on was in shambles. I do have a question though... what is parallel compression?
is an audio technique that mixes a compressed signal with the original uncompressed signal. This allows you to control the dynamic range and increase the presence and clarity of the sound without losing its naturalness.
@@adamellistutorials Wouldn't it be easier to just reduce the mix amount on the compressor until you get a balance between the compressed and dynamic signal? I've always found compression to be a tricky topic in general theory let alone implementing it in a project hahaha. But keep up the amazing work mate. These videos really do help very small time artists such as myself.
Hey thanks for the mixdown! dosen't logic have a note velocity function like ableton? would save doing 4 instances of sub bass
Who doesn’t like free stuff and ur free stuff is the best. Ur always giving away quality free stuff and ur precious time too mate. Love that btw. Ps do you not use span to see levels n stuff? Cheers Robin 🤞🏼
Track sounds great man. Not a logic user but I was trying to look at the peaks on the master. Am I correct that the kick is hitting -2. Just trying to get my head round where all the other elements are sitting against it. Do you have a general rule of thumb to how loud the elements should be compared to the kick?
Nice Track. What Kick Sample do you use in this track? From which Sample Pack do you have it? Greetz from Berlin
Thanks for a nice video! Two small questions comes to mind: Im curious how you se the FF Volcano? It's on a few tracks. And what sounds do you use from the main synths? Do you design your own?
Nah I just use the CLEAN setting and use the HP or LP setting mate. Works amazing.
@@adamellistutorials nice! would be cool to see an extended version of this. Also curious about your Spire/Sylenth sounds.
Free shit is the best shit :) On the topic of free shit, what would be your pick of free 303 VSTs?
Lovely track. Can you recommend some good Spire presets for leads?
Allen Watts 1 and 2 bud. That plus Metta & Glyde
@@adamellistutorials Cheers 👍
Are you using pads underneath the leads more these days? Makes a subtle difference doesn’t it
Have never done it any other way
Its not overwhelmed mate. It's ADHD my friend. Just an FYI.
Can I dance around naked?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
