Hey Jamie...a question about taking multiple trades: What are the pros and cons of either a)opening a trade with a larger than normal lot size and closing 50% at T/P or b) Opening multiple trades and closing them one at a time? I'm still practicing in a demo account, but I've just been closing a percentage of each trade at the first target instead of having multiple trades going at once...that can get cornfusing....it seems to be working for me, but maybe there is something I'm missing.....
omg this really works, i had been doing something where once i see a down wick where i am supposing that move might have started its way to touch my stop loss or break even, i take out half of my position from the first peak regardless of whatever it has reached to, and move my stop loss to break even, and this video is somehow the proof of my idea that just clicked my mind :D

What lot size do you advise?
Not a "Forex" trader myself, cause I'm over in the US, but I am adapting the concept to my futures trading with good results so far. 5 pts in /ES, 10 pts in /RTY, 20pts in /NQ. It all works the same. I have made a couple of trades in /6A, but the volatility is just not there for me compared to other products.
I also have successful trades in /GC, /CL and /NG taking a few points in a short amount of time. My longest trade so far is 7 hours. most are under an hour. Early days yet, but I am gathering data, making trades and enjoying the concept.

In your simulation you did not take a 5pips profits... I'm a bit confused now. where is the 5pips take profit in your video? how did you managed a 5pips take profit trade? what you have is already done which is already in your account history and also a past trade of your member. Hi ,mate . So you r entering the trade with NO SL but you r ready to close the trade manually if it geos above the "imaginary" SL you have in your head aka 8pip ...my question is how much higher you will let it go before you manually close it on a loss? Thank you.
So it depends really on the candle stick pattern. So let’s say my imaginary SL is 5 pips. If suddenly I get a large engulfing candle and it stays 7 pips. I’ll close it in a loss. Then my next trade has to be a minimum 7 pip TP to make up for the loss.

The MACD indicator is our own. It uses custom settings.
I don’t like the idea not to setting up a physical SL, however I learn a lot from you.

I never roll with a physical SL.
As i tend to enter at SR levels then the market going negative on me is not supposed to happen. I might let an M5 close in the red motion and see what the next one does. But continuation here means i got it wrong and it's going deeper before it goes my way. So.. i can now choose to close out for the small lose and then i can elect to trade it to the level i believe it will retrace to...or wait for the better entry. These mini losses never scare me. They happen all the time. And quite often i take a small trade to the expected target which so often gets hit giving me more then i lost anyways. and on top of that i get a better entry for the original position i wanted to take giving me even more profits on that trade. So... losing is winning in my books.
You are Scalping so when u see it goes beyond your 5 pips to say 8pips u manually close it. If u set up a SL the Broker and Banks will see your SL and take u out.
I've had the parabolic move during a trade. Talking over a hundred pips in a very short time. However if you're sitting in front of the screen I can get out. SL also lets you get out "sensibly" and you can easily get back in under better conditions.
If there is no CALENDAR NEWS around, and supporting the analysis with a strong trend, you can trust the price will reach the TP without needing a SL

i keep my hand on exit button when more than 5 to 6 $ loss and exit fast
whoever is watching this you better put some sort of emergency stop loss on the trade just in case the market drops, or raises in seconds. make is large and have a mental stop loss sure, but still have that stop loss for the emergency that eventually you will experience.

The guy who made 18K on a day with 31 pips must have $580 lot size. Am I assuming it right? People, who keep 0.01 lot size (like your video) would only get $25 per day. correct? and build the account slowly and steadily. Is that your message?

I use this method and it depends on how many trades you take. At 0.01 for 5pips your winning 0.50 cents a trade. You would need to win 50 times a day to get $25 but that's definitely a monthly goal to try to hit. I myself back test on mt4 and I usually go for 40 trades a week. The only problem is sometimes not setting a sl will take most of the profit you made so I'd say to take one trade at a time to counter this. It's really a waiting game sometimes

Why not just set physically a stop loss of 35+ pips
I can't use a different broker. The U.S. won't allow it.
if you trade binary i can see making a killing on 5 pips. you are in for what 5 to 10 seconds.
My broker charges $9 a lot which is fair. Some are much worse then that. I get high leverage and super fast execution.
The real price tag comes in the form of the spread.
5 might pay this. but you are making less then your broker is.
I like to get at least 10. And my trade is always to the next SR level. It will get there... eventually.
