I have Excoriation disorder too I'm 23 and I have literally like 200+ BLACK spots on my face and neck alone. Seeing someone else have the same disorder and be this drop dead gorgeous is giving me hope for myself honestly.

Thanks for sharing this, l see flawless skin on the internet with or without filters and fell like I am alone going through troubled skin and it kinda makes we insecure about my skin.This really helped and I pray all girls and boys out their going through these insecurities find confidence an comfort in their own skin.

this made me cry. (not full on tho bc my heart is stone :’)) my skin has cleared up a lot as i’ve understood skin and ingredients better but especially as i’ve gotten farther into ed recovery. (regulated hormones, enough nourishing food, less skin picking and skin focused dysmorphia/compulsively using strong actives too much etc.) however i still have breakouts, hyperpigmentation, eczema and psoriasis flares, *always* blackheads, lumps, bumps, etc. rationally i think my skin is pretty “clear” but my brain can always find something to fixate on. anyways this made me feel less alone, as with really all your content. i also really appreciate your gorgeous, plump, face. my face is getting plumper and plumper the more i recover. in my self i view it as my body thriving and being a verdant bit of life, but representation is still so important. i love coming online and seeing a face that looks like mine. i love your fashion content. our bodies are different and both so valid, worthy, and gorgeous. thank you for everything. you don’t just do makeup. i truly believe you’re changing the industry and radically changing *lives.* you help us love ourselves and believe in ourselves. you’re the ride-or-die bestie we all need… so ✨ *thank you* ✨
I can feel this message, people who with extreme oily skin with large pores, white heads, black heads, bumps, acne, harmon imbalance causing facing hair and hyperpigmentation all that can be so stressful and lowers the confidence.
So seeing people with texture coming out with makeup and products and being open about it, makes us happy that it’s okay to be the way we are. And healing takes time.
We are all beautiful with different body type, skin color and different texture. ✨
I have eczema and have always struggled with dry patches and irritated flare ups. Seeing someone share their skin issues, especially someone who I think of as having "ideal" glowing skin just fills and soothes my heart ❤️ Thank you for sharing this!
Also yesssss your tips are so good, it took me years to figure out that loading up my make-up just made everything I was trying to hide stand out more. I love tinted moisturisers and skin tints, and I'm loving that more natural skin is making a return.

I really appreciate this honesty. All the blurring filters and editing is starting to get to me. It’s important to remind yourself makeup is supposed to enhance what you already have. There’s nothing wrong with texture, discolouration and uneven skin. Please go easy on yourselves.

I wasn't expecting to be sobbing my heart out right now. I've had bad, gross skin since puberty struck. A couple of years ago I tried Vichy Normaderm Phytosolution, anti-acne cleansing gel and the matching lotion. Combined with Bioderma Pore Refiner I finally have clear skin! I also use La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo. It's tinted and can be used as a moisturizer. Great for those hurry moments!
