The song is called the six days war, In my opinion, the times of this war teaches us this conflict is so far from over. Before this war, Jordan controlled the west bank and Egypt controlled Gaza. They could have easily given the Palestinians independence and establish a palestinian state there but instead of doing so and ending the conflict for good, the arab countries and the Palestinians gathered to attack Israel again in hopes to wipe it off. It was a lose lose situation for humanity. If the arabs won they would have mass massacred or even genocide the Jews in Israel. (If) When Israel won they conquered the west bank and gaza and controlled it ever since, Israel can't give it back in exchange for peace cause the Palestinians refuse to recognizing an Israeli state anywhere "from the river to the sea". Israel tried giving back lands in exchange for peace when they gave autonomy over Gaza to the Palestinians and forced all Jews out of there. And instead of peace the Gazan people elected a terror organization to power which murdered over 2000 Israelis. Basically I'm saying that any tiny hope for peace that anyone in both sides had before this war, was shattered right after it. But at least it didn't end up with a second genocide of the Jewish people.
