I discovered Sean Rowe in the movie "Accountant" with that beautiful song "To leave something behind". I've been a huge fan of Nick Cave for long time and I think that Cave is one of the most wonderful artists in the world. I can't put in words how much this cover touch me. It's such a lovely feeling - watching one wonderful artist singing a song of another wonderful artist. Thank you, Sean Rowe
Johnny Thankyou so much!
Unreal. Watching Sean slowly check off all of my favourite songs on his list of covers has been something, that's for sure. I've never heard a better cover of this oft-covered masterpiece.
aw thank you!!!
can‘t believe this has not millions of views!
Three days later: Can't stop listening...💜
One of my all time favorite songs in the world from one of my favorite artists ever
WHAT. A. SONG.
A man, singing.
Perfection.
You're take, rendition, cover, Life playlist ... Whatever it is, it hits home and resonates with this 50 year old. Keep playing, foraging and cooking wild. Love you Brother
Wow, thank you!
I greatly appreciated this exchange of gratitude, don't know why but guess it's just rare to get to see artist and fan of art get to interact in such a simple transaction, it's refreshing.
I'll say it again here, truly beautiful!!!
Thanks Alex!
Comforted me tonight. Always loved this song. Beautiful. Thanks, Jess
much appreciated my friend.
Pure magic from starlight Sean.
Heaven
Great performance! Can't stop listening - magical Sound.💫
thank you!!!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
I'm obsessed with this little melody that leads into and through the hook...so good
Was there an episode of Can I Eat This on Sunday?! I made a note on the calendar and forgot! Hope it's still up...SEAN, I'M A LATE BUT BETTER THAN NEVER, NICK CAVE FAN- your cover has " changed" Nick's for me ear. You put real SOUL, real raw emotion, Nick who has a terrific rich baritone too- but perhaps a more restrained, cooler- as in temperature, intellectual "pose" than yours- can't explain- no I don't mean he's a snob and your not brainy! Oh bother...I loved it. New "fav" cover. Namaste
I really appreciate that! Thank you!
Fantastic!!
Thank you! Cheers!
I heard so many covers of this song and this is only one that brings same feelings as original. This fantastic artist has make this song his own, I almost believed that to be impossible.
That means a lot. Thank you. ;D
So beautiful.
Thank you! Cheers!
🙏
Magic Sean love it! Really diggin that delay thingy effect part half way through that’s the bollocks! Love a bit of live teamwork that produces that kinda performance😻
👐onderfull!!⚡️🍁🍂✨
Bravo!
Well done, Sean! 👍🏻
WOW❤
Großartig.
My my. That's just brilliant.
Sounding great Sean! :)
The like button just doesn’t do this cover justice .
I love everything about this! Great cinematic looking video!
Happy to hear that!
Hell yeah, great cover!
Thanks for listening Van!
Like the original by Nike Cave, but this might be better. He has a really great way of covering songs and adding a very unique flair to them.
Check out his cover of Richard Thompson - 1952 Vincent Black Lightning as well if you haven't heard it yet.
Too bad these are not on Spotify, would add these to my playlists.
When he did the quarantine concerts I found that cover, really impressive work. Those weekend sessions were a real gem in the whole situation.
Thats exactly the reason why I prefer youtube for discovering music.
NICE DUDE!
✌
You make all songs sound better 😊
aw thanks!
Great , really special and gigantic 👍🎶!!!!
Big thanks 😊
Is there a way you can put your covers on Spotify? beautiful!

Sing me the phone book ....im waiting...💔
As much as I like you work, I really don't like this cover. I think it mainly has to do with the timing and the fact that you started off with 'Interventionalist'.. It just doesn't carry the weight and emotion it should have when performed in a kitchen, then again it might just be that I have been spoiled, because I saw Nick last friday and the whole venue joined in on the chorus of Into my arms, and I had just buried my aunt the day before. Either way, keep your candles burnin' Sean. I have covered 'To leave something behind' and 'Suprise' quite often (and have sat down to figure out Jonathan). Much appreciate your writing, singing and playing. Hope you'll be back in Amsterdam at some point. Cheers
I can’t stand it
You are a legend!
