good timing ... and a really good topic video worth watching for those doing clutch jobs. Often this replacement rear seal is overlooked and not done. Thanks !

I can always understand the preassure in all dealers, 2 things here were unethic
One you use a Iron hammer to tap on the new oil seals and the aluminum edges
Two you did not use a torque rachet for the bolts on the flywheel. Big mistake ! Cleaning was fine. I wouldn't take my old car to yiur local dealer shop like this but a trust mechanic. Good luck!

I have a question....... Why you don't use the Torque Wrenches tighten the screws? It is very important for the engine. 🙇‍♂️

I have the same car with the same engine. Well, not exactly the same, it's the prestige version sold in SEA, China and Australia (as the Aurion). I had a top gasket leak a couple of years ago, it was so bad that oil was leaking from the top of the engine. Replaced that and it's been fine so far. Down the road I noticed that my oil has been decreasing, not at a catastrophic level, but still annoying to say the least. Switched to a thicker oil at 10W-40 (FK) and added some Liqui Moly Motor oil saver (That claims can regenerate old engine seals that have worn overtime and stop external oil leakage). Currently since my last oil change, I had clocked about 1400 kms, and I already had to top up about 500 ml's of oil, or half a litre. I suspect my crankshaft seal is leaking like in the video, since the last time I replaced the top gasket, I haven't really paid any attention to these two. Thanks for showing me where these two seals are, I think it's possible to replace the front seal without taking the engine out of the car (Since the crankshaft pulley is visible when you take the right tire off). While I have to pay a bit more if I want to replace the rear seals since you have to split the engine from the transmission. Kudos to all of you at the workshop :) greetings from Indonesia.

Yes you can replace the front seal but you have to pull the engine out to replace the rear seal.

    Step 1: pull the engine.
    I'm outta here.
