I called the quick sale of office furnishings when Pat and Ian revealed that the California office had been emptied (having a fire sale on office furnishings is pretty common for companies that are being liquidated). That said, I did NOT call that they were selling office furnishings financed by and leveraged by somebody else. This is absolutely wild.
He probably did the personal guarantee because he couldn’t get the loan otherwise. He wanted the office to look fancy so he could bullshit people more easily.
This case is far more open and shut and an easy win since he made the big mistake of co-signing for this loan. He really has no way to get out of this without making a deal.
Intellivision ran out of money last July, the same month they stopped paying this furniture bill. So it looks like they'll be suing Tommy for the money.
Intellivision certainly were adamant about keeping up appearances for investors with all that furniture. They were not ashamed of hiding it, as they had a "Invest" link right in the top main menu, very rare for a business-to-consumer company to show above the fold.
Seeing as executives got 6 figures + a year.... Aka 110000......this could easily have been avoided. Seeing as how they had several offices around the world this could easily have been avoided. This certainly explains DJC's new "Amico Forever" rules. The chat is going to be heavily moderated to make sure only positive things about the Amico are discussed. This is no doubt to keep talk of this lawsuit from becoming spoken about there.
@@NinjaKittyRetro I get the feeling when there's no more ways to spin that the Amico is ever coming out, like with the actual death of the company, DJC is probably gonna pull a Matt Hoss, and go into hiding for four years.

Heck, they could have just gotten stuff off lease from collapsed offices, I'm sure there were liquidators who would have given clearout prices to them!
How does this work then, if this case shows they are unable to pay , does that mean others will not pursue for a time as it is proven that any case will not achieve anything? is 140k a cheap way to buy indeterminate amount of time?
