It's true that in the first part of Kyoden you can hear "honkai world diva" since it was done on purpose, but in the second, you can also ear "see you in another world", the theme of the original finale in ggz
I have an inkling when hearing the "utahime"/diva part of that song that it's kinda like how they usually call Miku, but Honkai Impact official Music and Miku/Vocaloid is too far apart to see the producer connection. And then it turn out it's originally sung by Miku again lmao
This song has traveled far rlly, from fly me too the moon to honkai gakuen to honkai impact, and the latest honkai star rail...might as well call this mohoyo's theme song now😂😂
wait i didn't know they added it to star rail too???? dear god it makes me somewhat emotional to see it again it really has travelled such a long way...
i always found it a little sad how mei only has like, one(?) vocal song compared to other characters who might have more despite being the second main character of the honkai franchise for quite a long time, but i also think having honkai world diva as a singular theme, constantly reiterated across the span of over a decade is definitely iconic in its own right... that motif is forever linked to raiden mei, no matter what world/variant and i think thats very cool also i dont know what it is, but the first 15 seconds of the movie ver of HWD makes me so emotional. it just sounds so sentimental but that is very fitting i guess
2011 ver!? I had never heard of them… And I didn’t know that the instruments sound quite different between 2014 and 2017. Honkai World “Diva” came from Miku…?
Miku, Herrscher of Music. Like a lot of the aggressive Herrschers, she was never mortal nor human. However, unlike them, she fights for the sake of humanity, to protect the very concept of music.
i love the 2011 ver it feels so nostalgic … especially the brief bridge instrumental and background ‘futuristic/underwater’ sounds … like woaw this really is a 2011 vocaloid song and i love how the 2014 ver retained a lot of those nostalgic elements with the addition of more epic instruments… the stakes are high there is a story here now… 9:58 love this vocal moment she sounds so pained. and the bridge instrumental sounds like impending doom before switching to a momentary reprise/reflection (like a memory) .. its very clear and tranquil 11:45 that background synth reminds me of an acnl song i cant name. melancholy… and the instruments are overall thicker and even more epic which makes the stakes feel even higher esp. with the addition of the violin 13:17 love this part especially the bass .. this time it feels less like active reminiscence and getting lost in nostalgia and more like passing by, knowing that it’s not something you deserve to indulge in anymore 13:54 so beautiful OH my god 14:39 the second this song starts playing tears are in my eyes without fail bro. it feels so lonely… and even more violin makes the bridge reminiscence feel distorted and then abandoned, very contrary the 2014 ver .. it screams longing despite the strong instruments showing resolve
I still wish we could have gotten the recording for the 2nd rendition from the Lament of the Fallen animation that plays at the end. It's almost a cappella sounding with only a guitar softly playing in the background. It's a very calming version compared to how high energy the "proper" one is
14:40 this song haunts me sometimes in my dreams ..plz correct me if im wrong but was this in one of the boss fights in the game? cuz i feel like i heard it somewhere during the game but im not too sure ..
i have stopped playing hi3 for a long time ago but this song if my memories served me right, it only appears in the cutscene of the main story plot where Mei is gonna be the herscher of thunder while Kiana try to stop her. . . . . . if saving you is a sin, that i am gladly to become a sinner. -Mei-
It did appear, In the cutscene where Kiana and Mei had their rooftop fight aka Lament of the Fallen. The song was played in the background. Oh and the actual quote is "If Saving you is a sin, I'll gladly become sinner"
I'm almost certain that it is an original from Hoyo, they just weren't well-known and didn't have the money at the time to get a singer, so they used Miku.
@@sight29 It's in the description. A three-person group called "Miku Sound" released this song in 2011 with 2 versions, Miku and SAYA. Some of the members now work in Hoyo-Mix with the composer of this song being the director of Hoyo-Mix.
"Wait, it was Hatsune Miku?" "It always has been."
Ever since i heard miku sing diva of disruptive world, i got hooked into the vocaloid fandom. Thanks honkai.
Now it makes a lot of sense.

They should do a remaster of the Miku version with her V4 voice bank

This song is very nostalgic. I remembered playing GGZ and downloading the song pack (yes, the in-game songs need to be downloaded one by one)
The 2024 one is that one music youll see a orchestra and actually love it.
When the violin drops in the short for 2020 version, it can make a man cry.

No. It technically doesn't even classify as a Vocaloid song as the holders of the song now are Hoyo-Mix, and it's much different.
