Il ritorno del gambero di fiume - The white-clawed crayfish comeback

Rewilding Apennines è impegnata nel riportare il gambero di fiume autoctono dell'Appennino centrale attraverso un programma di riproduzione e rilascio. Questa specie è particolarmente minacciata ed è scomparsa da numerosi fiumi.
Il primo centro gestito dall'associazione è quello di Borrello, nella Riserva Naturale Regionale Cascate del Verde.

Rewilding Apennines is committed to restoring the native white-clawed crayfish of the central Apennines through a breeding and release programme. This species is particularly threatened and has disappeared from many rivers.
The first centre managed by the association is in Borrello, in the Cascate del Verde Regional Nature Reserve.
