    Great show, looking forward to the 2 shows a week. Saw Nate's piece about Royer, drafted him late and played him this past week.

    Thanks Jared! Couple RB room questions for ya after week 1: 1. Any thoughts about the Texas RB room - Jaydon Blue vs Jerrick Gibson? 2. How bout Arizona room with Quali Conley and Croskey-Merritt? Thanks again man!

      Still easily Blue to me. He was taken out of the game against Colorado State early. As for Arizona, it looks like a relatively even split between Merritt and Conley. Obviously Conley got some more work in the receiving game. I think that might be a situation where they’ll eat into each other most weeks. Arizona won’t have New Mexico every week to load them up with 4 TDs between the two of them.

    Love some of these early season waiver options, but struggling with who to drop… on a dynasty roster… Easy to “freak out” to week 1 duds on our rosters, but wanna be careful not to overreact to some of these potential one hit wonder “waiver traps”…
    For example, do I:
    1) Drop Sellers to get Dampier (34:26) or French (40:07)? Sellers had low and inefficient passing volume, but 22(!!!) rush attempts. Meanwhile Dampier and French putting up high volume passing AND rushing attempts. Don’t need any of them this season really (have Salter, McCloud, Greene, Johnson), but looking for the next Salter from a G5 school with easy schedules!
    2) Drop Squirrel (22:46) and/or Bernard (18:23) to get Ward, Nash, Rucker, Savion? Not sure what to make of Bernard’s 1(!!!) target and Squirrel’s 2(!!!) targets in blowout games. Meanwhile these other guys had 15, 16, 13, and 17(!!!) targets respectively. Volume is king, right?
    3) Drop Mario Anderson to get Reid (53:40), Tyus (51:25), Waters? Anderson looks to be in a 1A/1B situation now whereas these guys appear to be the surprise bell cows… Grab the volume? Have Hampton, Sherrod, Martinez (10:26), Monangai, Blue, and James so really just looking for the ceiling here vs the floor…

      That first one is tough. I personally haven't been the highest on Sellers, but its hard to ignore how wild he could go if the offense he's in is right. If this year's production is the deciding factor, I'd much rather have Dampier or French on my roster.
      I'd drop Squirrel to get Nash/Ward. Are we sure you don't have other options to drop besides Bernard? I'm confident he'll get his in the coming weeks.
      I would not drop Mario Anderson, especially now that Sutton Smith is injured for a while. Low volume due to blowout.

    What do you think about jalen royals? Also should i drop Jacquez Stuart or Jalen White for one of the runningbacks you named?

    • @ChasingtheNattyCFF
      @ChasingtheNattyCFF  2 месяца назад +1

      Royals got 11 targets so he’ll be fine, just needs his QB situation to settle out.
      As for Stuart or White: White’s interesting because he’s a guy who’s normally locked into 20-25 touches when healthy but we just didn’t see that on Saturday. His lack of volume got over shadowed by 3 TDs. Stuart was a victim of a blowout, I think he’ll be fine. For now, I’d keep both of those guys for this week, but be prepared to go shopping next week if things don’t get better.

      @@ChasingtheNattyCFFI ended up dropping Stewart or the Pitt running back, Desmond Reid. Should I get back Stewart you think?

      I view Stuart and Reid as roughly the same. I'll leave that up to your personal preference!

    Jared, any thoughts on Jordan Mosley at Miss State?

    • @ChasingtheNattyCFF
      @ChasingtheNattyCFF  2 месяца назад

      Hard to take away too much given the blowout, but obviously an impressive season debut for him. 2nd most pass snaps among the WRs behind Mario Craver, so obviously a good sign for him to start moving forward. I still want to see what this rotation and target share looks like when Kelly A returns.
      I think Mosley is a good stab in very deep leagues.

      Did I not add that caveat? Apologies for that. The point I was trying to make was that Haynes wasn’t 100%.
