I’ve fallen in love with this trooper of a man-who has fallen asleep in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father. God Be with you. Thank You Thank You Thank You Father
I love the interesting and informative way Dr Ford preaches. He is humble about his brilliant intellectual background. I am so grateful that he draws on his scholarship to make important things easy for God's people to understand. Looking forward to meeting him in heaven.
Thanks for the comment. I have seen and heard many others with similar accounts. Preaching Christ as Des does changes lives like nothing else can. Blessings
It the hope in the message - a hope I never dared dream existed. Christianity was a futile effort, before... but now, since salvation no longer depends on perfection (doing) but faith (believing on what was done), there is hope, indeed! I have taken the liberty to extract the audio of these videos and put them on a USB stick so I can listen to them on the way to work and home. A lot of gospel can be absorbed in 45 mins... :)
yes what passes for Christianity is often a futile effort. false teachers focus upon bible standards that we need to meet, and while we may desire to do so, we are never told how these standards are met for us in the loving Son. So there is no release from sin's captivity. Until we are told the glorious Gospel that God has undertaken our cause. He has defeated sin, death and the Devil for us. This releases us from the power of evil by the gift of His righteousness. And until then we will remain dead and will know no power of resurrection to bring us back to life. Paul said he was not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.... For in it (the gospel) the righteousness of God is revealed... no revealing of God's righteousness means no power and no power means Christianity has not been presented. It may claim to be Christianity but it is not true if it leaves you dead.
This *is* the Message... the message Paul focused on (I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified) is the message that must go out, and will go out there to everyone. Which then points us back to the Gospels themselves and The Word (those that would outlive heaven and earth - they would never pass away). It is The Message I hope to share with those I care for - I'm a nurse - and people I love around me. It is ultimate reality: only the very fewest see it or indeed accept it, but Christ's life and death and what He has given us all - redemption - for every human on earth, is the most important thing in life to understand and share...
So far as his view on the age of the earth is concerned he has said nothing about radiohalos which give rocks the capacity to be made in microseconds rather than billions of years as he seems to believe.
