This was the year it should have been KD vs LeBron in the Finals! Prime v Prime. No excuses. Both teams had good rosters. This OKC team were no scrubs (SAS voice). Had GSW down 3-1. That would have been a better rivalry for the NBA. 2 top players, as well as Kyrie vs Westbrook and Love vs Ibaka. Maaaaaan...
I KNOW RIGHT!!! Bruh they were up 3-1 against the warriors it would have been perhaps more entertaining than the finals with cavs vs warriors 2016 because it would’ve been lebron vs Durant, Westbrook vs Irving, love vs ibaka, and so on. Damn this was durants chance, his year, even though the warriors had that insane 73-9 season the okc proved they were more dominant by going up 3-1 but they just had to blow it unfortunately.
And KD wouldn't have to leave OKC because they were able to beat the GSW

Each team he has left he has talked bad about them as well. Lebron built his team after being given nothing in Cleveland. Mike and Kobe had teams built for them. Durant had a talented team but choked.

I remember that off season right before KD signed with the Warriors that Victor Oladipo signed with OKC and i thought that wouldve brought back the OKC big 3. I remember thinking that Oladipo would bring some added defense to help on Klay, Steph, and Kyrie and then when i heard that KD left i was so disappointed. 2017 was supposed to be so balanced.
The reason why I think it was disappointing was because kd and Westbrook had Just entered their true prime.
Adams was also getting better and inaka was still good for a few years.
They literally just needed to sign a second shooter who could score 10-15 points efficiently and play Decent Defense.
Oladipo might have been that but I'm not sure if OKC would have signed him if kd stayed

There's no debate. KD for sure was the hardest player to guard on that time. His size really gave him advantage to shot over people. And Lebron was clearly MVP. On one-on-one maybe he wouldn't dominate KD like on that game but hey, this is team game. You can't win by yourself, and in this case Lebron was more valuable than KD since he could manage to score and giving teammates easy bucket on the same volume. His BB IQ really impressive.

KD IS BETTER THAN LEBRON. In Scoring and Shooting ability. LeBron is better than KD in all around ability. He can score, Pass, Defend, and has an Unbelievable IQ in games. So Durant won the scoring. But Bron won the all around ability. To summarize, Bron is Much Better than KD. But in terms of scoring, KD is much better.

This game for me epitomises why LeBron is a better basketball player hands down, even to this day. Is KD a better shooter? No doubt.
