Thank you very much for the Command U trick, I can see myself using that a lot. The Control key adjusting automation points is extremely handy, I use it every time I do automation.
@@TheBandGuide I find that Logic has incredibly easy quick shortcuts and yet, I don’t think any of the User Guides from Apple really emphasize just how useful some of them are (which I suppose I understand since they are just telling you what you can do but it’s up to the user to figure out what they want to use and how to use them). It would be great if they highlighted certain things in a way that said “No seriously, use this Command shortcut, really..” I have like 5 of your playlists saved and reference them often Collin… you save me a ton of time when I get stuck or frustrated… so again a huge thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
Didn’t know about cmd+U or the solo safe function, good stuff! Really wish Logic would chill on the automation. I’m never going to boost anything by 20db lol just give us an option to scale it down to like 5db max both ways, that way we can just move it naturally with the mouse.
Command-U to cycle selected region is a good trick, I use it all the time. It is also worth mentioning that if you only press "U" (without command), it does the same thing, but the cycle length is set to the nearest full bars of the selected region's start and end.
A few years back I set mine up so that the loop automatically moves to the selected region. The safe solo and fine automation are nice to know about. Thanks
