you probably won't see this but I just had to say the curled edges reminded me of the cocoon the butterfly emerges from, your work is amazing!!

Okay, I've got a confession to make. Watching your beautiful altered art has awoken in the artist that has been sitting there waiting for some inspiration. I'm sure that I will never be able to create as beautifully as you but I now have a sudden urge to pick up a brush and dip it in gesso and dabble with some paints/inks. Your work is truly inspirational and I sit in awe and marvel at the beauty you create. :)

We were making mixed media art in my two years in Graphic Art design. I must say paints, stamps, even papers and more have come a long way in 10 years or less? I stopped those areas and put myself deep in stained glass. Not an inexpensive craft! But all that aside now,or for a while looking for something new and fantastic, also creative and stunning! I'm burned out with a lot of mediums and I think I found that next fantastic atistry out let! I wish I had taken my nose out of the glass art for a minute! But I will learn quickly and hopefully put out great pieces? I'm so excited and get that way with every new adventure! I need to learn to stop other art so I don't become overwhelmed as with past ventures? EXCITED TO START, a little imtimidated? Thank you so much!!!
I hear you....I sometimes do that too....I've gotten into beadwork ( jewellery making )...right now Im obsessing a bit with cake decorating....but my first love is mixed media. I wish you the best in your new art journey! xo
