I really liked that you added in the neglected sides of war, the boredom of digging trenches, spending the time playing cards. I liked that you had officers giving down orders as well. The battles were quick but interesting and kept the viewers attention. I'm excited to see part 2 when you all film it. Nice work lads, also it's nice to see a Canadian perspective of the war.
This is great! I’ve been looking forward to this I had to rewatch it!! I wish to make a film like this one day it’s been my dream for awhile, keep up the good work I can’t wait for part two!
@@wallacefilms4353 I’m gonna try by next year…I was going to this spring but I simply don’t have enough equipment or anything for more that one person at a time
@@worldwarairsoft6099 thats the magic with movies you dont even need more than one person with some camara magic you can make it look like there are tons of people
Eyy, sorry but it's my perfectionism and this time i'll try to be mild, but i just gotta love the paper and Danish/English M/45 gas mask spawning in ww1. Also now that the gas used in the start is yellow it would most likely be based on mustard gas and therefore all of them would have died anyway since mustard gas would also enter through the skin, also the guy who fell and dropped his gasmask would have died no matter what if it was realistic, subjects to mustard gas tended to throw up, cry, cough non-stop and in extreme cases cough up a bit blood.
Some of the acting was pathetic and the dialogue uninspired, the uniforms were a bit too spotless, and the guys didn't look like they'd missed out on a good night's sleep for months; but I appreciate it's difficult to make authentic short movies like this on a tight budget. Intended more as tips for next time rather than criticisms, guys.
