The governor of Massachusetts spoke to national media regarding Proctors testimony and is disgusted and focused on his text messages about Karen. He done, he’ll no longer be an police officer there.
I live here in MA & I feel like her making any comment after all this time, is a little too late for me personally. We only know about his connections because of the federal investigation, which is how they got all his texts. What if that never happened? Proctor denied knowing any of the Albert family throughout this whole thing, even when it became clear through pics and videos. The Norfolk County DA made a whole speech about this case & the “harassment” the “witnesses” were receiving which also included how Proctor didn’t know the Albert’s, etc. I’ve been following this since April of 2023. There hasn’t been any harassment of any witnesses. I understand these people don’t like that theory public is calling them out because none of their stories match up or match the data, stories have changed, etc. The truth shouldn’t change, and if you’re telling the truth, it shouldn’t be hard to remember. You shouldn’t need your memory refreshed about what you said at previous hearings aka with the Feds, if you are telling the truth. We the public have every right to peacefully protest, what we see as an injustice. Which every protestor has followed the rules, even this unconstitutional buffer zone at the court house. No one has been violent in any way, shape or form at any of these protests. And actually the people who are outside of the courthouse, really wear 2 hats imo. We are supporters of an innocent woman who could quite literally be any one of us. And we are there to show the world what injustices are happening in our state. There’s so many layers to case. It’s extremely complex when you look at it as a whole. Also, I feel like the term FreeKarenRead means that in the literal way, and also it’s the first step in getting real justice for Officer John O’Keefe. He suffered a terrible death & deserved all hands on deck that morning. I pray one day he will get true justice. 🙏🏻

The pre-trial hearings were brutal to watch. I got into this case about a month ago & fully immersed myself. I am baffled at what they have done to Karen Read & cannot pull myself away. I am outraged by the injustice & Beverly has shown no mercy with her rulings.

I always comment to others that because there are so many off days, that I highly recommend going back and watching the pretrial hearings because they tell the story just how we got here. And they are just as explosive as some of the testimony and especially cross examination that we get to see in trial. Plus, you reallllyyyy get to see Judge Bevs bias in those proceedings. She’d set a deadline for the CW to turn over XYZ discovery by a certain date, when Lally wouldn’t comply with those discovery obligations, and you’d hear how the defense either reached out to the lab on their own at one point, and literally proved that what Lally had just conveyed to the judge was a complete lie, she had no reaction to it. It was disturbing to watch. And then suddenly, she gets the 3100+ page report from the Feds and she literally forces this to go to trial before all discovery obligations were complete. I really held off on calling her corrupt. But the defense at one point in a pretrial motion, asked her to recuse herself & they made very good arguments for that to happen. (Highly recommend watching that hearing) but she of course denied it, which they knew she would. Which is how she got her nickname Auntie Bev because of what one of the McCabe’s referred to her as. One thing that wasn’t brought up was that her brother was Chris Albert’s defense attorney when he did a hit and run in ‘94 when he struck a man & he was killed. She also put herself on this case. The judges are supposed to have a rotation & she quite literally put herself in that rotation where she wasn’t supposed to be. During all the pretrial hearings, she was already currently in trial for another fallen officer, Officer Chesna who lost his life in the line of duty. And then she took this on at the same time that trial was happening. Insanity! I’d love to know why she inserted herself into this case. What were her intentions?
Yeah the judge is definitely on the common wealth side and it has shown brightly all thru the trial. As for Mrs. O'Keefe, I thought it was the other way around. This is so spot on! It's interesting how many people worldwide watching can pick up on Bev's bias but it's interesting that's she's unbothered and doesn't care to give Karen her right to a fair trial. Evidently she was somehow assigned to civil cases but specifically fought to stay on this criminal case. Allegedly. The O'Keefe family seem they were stubbornly following the CW. There were many comments that John & his mother were not close in adulthood. Im not sure of the truth, but if they hold weight I think a lot of her anger could be attributed to her own battles with regret. Her laughing at Proctor’s texts about Karen made me sad.

I've been following this trial, and your reading of the participants resonates with me. To me Paul O'Keefe looks like he has a volcano within him that is about to erupt, I fear for Karen sitting so close to him. When Paul gave his testimony, he said that after the family seen John's remains, they came out and seen Karen, she was screaming "is he dead", and with a really menacing look on his face, he said he blew her a kiss, in response to being asked what he replied to her! It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up the way he said it! No matter what the weight of evidence in Karen's favour, I think Paul will find it really difficult to believe the truth, I watched a vid last night of him going into the court, and totally unprovoked he turned to Karen's brother and said "f**king a**hole"!

Apparently of the 15 jurors left, 10 of them are women, and they could not hide their disgust when Proctor testified, but when they made him read out the text where he called Karen the "C" word, John O'Keefe's mother laughed out loud in the court!

You could eel the pain on Karen's messages to John, struggling to know what was going on with their relationship and I felt like she loved John very much and was struggling for help with the children, her MS, and feeling as something was off in the relationship. John only wanted a ride home from her that night cuz of the snow, and Karen was only wanting him to love her and spend time with her. I feel strongly that these messages between John and Karen resembled that of a toxic relationship and Karen was on the receiving end of emotional abuse, at best. The tones speak for themselves and I would be hurt if the love of my life would rather go hang out with fake friends rather than spend time with me. However, her energy felt hurt, not angry. I think that poor woman drove home and cried her eyes out the whole way home. And I feel like John was angry that she was leaving him there. Cuz the whole purpose of her going was to give John a ride home, in his eyes. Could John have possibly punched the tail light cuz he was mad and she drove off?? But why would Karen want to hang back and continue with his gas-lighting type of behavior?? I don't mean to disrespect Officer O'Keefe or his memory in any way, but he did not come off as a man who really cared for Karen, but more what Karen could do for him. I feel so bad for her cuz I know what that feels like, but never had the thought of causing harm immediately went to an intention of causing harm to anyone for it. I think she had a broken heart by this night and couldn't keep up with appearances any longer. And her fake friend Jen McCabe (who i'm feeling secretly had a crush on John) no doubt was sharing private feelings from Karen to John (in terms of insecurities in the relationship), and was using them against her. :(
John's mother does not want to take into account that her son was drunk, and grown up man, who decided to get into Alberts house.. the house of snakes, where he met his demise. Its easy to blame Karen read ... that she somehow ultimatelly could have prevented this grown man, who had many drinks from going to Alberts house. That does not make sense. Karen did all she could.

I think its easy for people to think Karen isn't likeable and easy to dislike but it can both be true that she's a polarizing personality and their relationship could be full of drama but that doesn't mean she's guilty. And plus her health issues could be taking a toll on her moods.

I have followed the case for about a year now, and I’m sure that she’s factually innocent. I believe that the witness that told about what happened inside the house is correct. A fight broke out, Colin and Brian Albert attacked John, Higgins went to the police department to see if anything had been reported and went back to the house at 34 to help get John out on the lawn between 3 and 4 AM. Either the Albert’s or McCabe’s daughter got rid of the dog Chloe, and Jen McCabe started to control the narrative. The rest of them just trusted what the McCabe and Albert families told happened, and were used to cover for them, like they have done several times before when caught in drunk driving, fights and “accidents”. I think and hope this is the last time and they are going to prison for it this time.

The pre-trial hearings were brutal to watch. I got into this case about a month ago & fully immersed myself. I am baffled at what they have done to Karen Read & cannot pull myself away. I am outraged by the injustice & Beverly has shown no mercy with her rulings.

I always comment to others that because there are so many off days, that I highly recommend going back and watching the pretrial hearings because they tell the story just how we got here. And they are just as explosive as some of the testimony and especially cross examination that we get to see in trial. Plus, you reallllyyyy get to see Judge Bevs bias in those proceedings. She’d set a deadline for the CW to turn over XYZ discovery by a certain date, when Lally wouldn’t comply with those discovery obligations, and you’d hear how the defense either reached out to the lab on their own at one point, and literally proved that what Lally had just conveyed to the judge was a complete lie, she had no reaction to it. It was disturbing to watch. And then suddenly, she gets the 3100+ page report from the Feds and she literally forces this to go to trial before all discovery obligations were complete. I really held off on calling her corrupt. But the defense at one point in a pretrial motion, asked her to recuse herself & they made very good arguments for that to happen. (Highly recommend watching that hearing) but she of course denied it, which they knew she would. Which is how she got her nickname Auntie Bev because of what one of the McCabe’s referred to her as.
One thing that wasn’t brought up was that her brother was Chris Albert’s defense attorney when he did a hit and run in ‘94 when he struck a man & he was killed. She also put herself on this case. The judges are supposed to have a rotation & she quite literally put herself in that rotation where she wasn’t supposed to be.
During all the pretrial hearings, she was already currently in trial for another fallen officer, Officer Chesna who lost his life in the line of duty. And then she took this on at the same time that trial was happening. Insanity!

This is so spot on! It's interesting how many people worldwide watching can pick up on Bev's bias but it's interesting that's she's unbothered and doesn't care to give Karen her right to a fair trial. Proctor is a disgrace. He thought he was in some sort of untouchable king. So much hubris and arrogance. So interesting how you linked Proctor's fall from grace akin to John O'Keefe's physical death.

I've been following this trial, and your reading of the participants resonates with me. To me Paul O'Keefe looks like he has a volcano within him that is about to erupt, I fear for Karen sitting so close to him. When Paul gave his testimony, he said that after the family seen John's remains, they came out and seen Karen, she was screaming "is he dead", and with a really menacing look on his face, he said he blew her a kiss, in response to being asked what he replied to her! It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up the way he said it!
No matter what the weight of evidence in Karen's favour, I think Paul will find it really difficult to believe the truth, I watched a vid last night of him going into the court, and totally unprovoked he turned to Karen's brother and said "f**king a**hole"!

Apparently of the 15 jurors left, 10 of them are women, and they could not hide their disgust when Proctor testified, but when they made him read out the text where he called Karen the "C" word, John O'Keefe's mother laughed out loud in the court!

I’m so glade I found you. I was hoping a psychic would sit in on the trial. I was thinking the other day if only John could just tell us from the grave what happened that night. You could eel the pain on Karen's messages to John, struggling to know what was going on with their relationship and I felt like she loved John very much and was struggling for help with the children, her MS, and feeling as something was off in the relationship. John only wanted a ride home from her that night cuz of the snow, and Karen was only wanting him to love her and spend time with her. I feel strongly that these messages between John and Karen resembled that of a toxic relationship and Karen was on the receiving end of emotional abuse, at best. The tones speak for themselves and I would be hurt if the love of my life would rather go hang out with fake friends rather than spend time with me. However, her energy felt hurt, not angry. I think that poor woman drove home and cried her eyes out the whole way home. And I feel like John was angry that she was leaving him there. Cuz the whole purpose of her going was to give John a ride home, in his eyes. Could John have possibly punched the tail light cuz he was mad and she drove off?? But why would Karen want to hang back and continue with his gas-lighting type of behavior?? I don't mean to disrespect Officer O'Keefe or his memory in any way, but he did not come off as a man who really cared for Karen, but more what Karen could do for him. I feel so bad for her cuz I know what that feels like, but never had the thought of causing harm immediately went to an intention of causing harm to anyone for it. I think she had a broken heart by this night and couldn't keep up with appearances any longer. And her fake friend Jen McCabe (who i'm feeling secretly had a crush on John) no doubt was sharing private feelings from Karen to John (in terms of insecurities in the relationship), and was using them against her. :(

I feel like there’s some high up political covering up going on. He’s also being investigated. What’s in it for him? Why did he go to these lengths.

I think its easy for people to think Karen isn't likeable and easy to dislike but it can both be true that she's a polarizing personality and their relationship could be full of drama but that doesn't mean she's guilty. And plus her health issues could be taking a toll on her moods.

I have followed the case for about a year now, and I’m sure that she’s factually innocent.
I believe that the witness that told about what happened inside the house is correct.
A fight broke out, Colin and Brian Albert attacked John, Higgins went to the police department to see if anything had been reported and went back to the house at 34 to help get John out on the lawn between 3 and 4 AM.
Either the Albert’s or McCabe’s daughter got rid of the dog Chloe, and Jen McCabe started to control the narrative.
The rest of them just trusted what the McCabe and Albert families told happened, and were used to cover for them, like they have done several times before when caught in drunk driving, fights and “accidents”. I think and hope this is the last time and they are going to prison for it this time.
