You were actually not wrong, friction plays a pretty big part in this too, specifically, air resistance. In fact, friction and air resistance play a larger part in forming the fireballs we see in the skies during an object's re-entry.

I'm so glad I found a series of someone who knows what they're doing playing this game and has good humor. The funny ones are always throwing stuff together and seeing what happens. The knowledgeable ones make it so boring if you're not already into the topic. Finally, have a middle ground here where I can see the game pushed further than maybe getting to the moon without getting bored out of my mind lol
Coming back to this.. Kevin wasn't the villain, he was just an alien trying to learn. Martin was the true villain in this story.
Kevin is an alien somehow ended up on earth but he is not an engineer he's an politician on his planet and just trying to get attention for the next election, and now he is trying to learn the way of physics to build a rocket and go back home. But he saw the great success of the Bean Space Program, so he think it would be enough for him to get the vote of his people if he take over humanity using the Bean Space Program, but get absolutely destroy and send to a star by a frog man
