I've played this game for 20 years and now they made it look amazing. Been through different build ups for all characters. My favourite Amazon build up was Plague Javelin with Lightning Fury. Had a hard time at few places on Hell difficulty where there are enemies immune to poison and lightning who were very tough as well but I had a surprise for them. Of course I was using Titan's Revenge and Thunderstroke but for tougher enemies I've described I was carrying Wraith Flight (Ghost Glaive) which is causing heavy damage to literally everything! Great video man, you're very skilled!
I can't play video games because of health issues, but I actually miss playing them so much. I have watched your entire video and I still got a lot of fulfillment. Thanks a bunch!
The soundtrack of the Harrogath reminds me greatly of Conan the Barbarian movie soundtrack. It sort of brings back the solemn, depressing feeling of watching the movie for the first time, not to mention the Valkyrie power-up. All of this almost brought tears to this old fart's eyes, who may no longer be playing all of these lengthy RPG PC games. I appreciate your really nice gameplay, as well as Blizzard for creating such a memorable theme (and game).
Thank you for the kind words Mohd :) I assume you also enjoy "Far Horizons" from Skyrim? My personal favorite. And don't talk like that man, we're forever young ;)
To Full Game Therapy, ever heard of the 2006 Action/RPG Game Known as TITAN QUEST? First physically on the PC/MAC, year 2006, and then in 2007 through Steam. A mobile port was developed by DotEmu and published in 2016, and versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch were released in 2018. All these versions were published by THQ Nordic. The story follows a player-created protagonist as they navigate Ancient Greece, Egypt and China on a quest to defeat the Titans after they escape from their ancient prison. The gameplay is similar to the Diablo series, with player navigation being handled with a mouse-driven tile-based interface, and gameplay revolving around role-playing mechanics and real-time combat. Four expansions have been created for the game; Titan Quest: Immortal Throne in 2007, and three others between 2019 and 2021. First announced in 2005, Titan Quest received generally positive reviews when released, being both praised as a good example of the genre while at the same time being criticized for its traditional gameplay. Sales of the main game and its expansion have been estimated as approaching one million units. The mobile port was tricky for its developers due to adapting the game for touchscreen controls: like the console version, it received positive reviews upon release. The engine and gameplay of Titan Quest later became the foundation for Grim Dawn, a video game developed by team members from Iron Lore following the studio's closure. IGN's Tom McNamara generally praised the gameplay despite some awkward elements, called the sound design "well done", and positively noted its graphics despite some technical troubles. He also cited the multiplayer as the main part of the game's replay value, as it was otherwise fairly linear in design. PALGN reviewer Mark Marrow called Titan Quest "one of the best PC games on the market for the year", saying it revitalized its genre despite some minor issues with gameplay and presentation. PC Zone's Sam Kieldsen praised the gameplay and leveling system, along with its graphics and soundtrack. His main criticisms were its low difficulty, repetitive structure and weak storyline.VideoGamer.com's Tom Orry said the game "doesn't really do anything new", but praised its presentation and noted that it was more accessible than others within the genre. In his review of the mobile port, Shaun Musgrave of Touch Arcade shared many points of praise with earlier reviewers, along with calling it a good port despite some minor issues such as framerate drops.Gamezebo's Rob Rich praised the gameplay elements carried over from the original, and positively noted its graphical detail despite persistent framerate drops. His main complaints were the inventory system, and problems with contextual commands such as picking up items. Thanks, Jon S, PS: Guybrush: At least I’ve learnt something from all of this. Elaine: What’s that? Guybrush: Never pay for a computer/video game. Elaine: A what? Guybrush: I don't know. I have no idea why I said that.
Dear Jon, thank you for commenting and elaborating on what you wanted to express. To answer your question, yes, I did hear and play Titan Quest. I finished it when it was released, later I played through it on mobile but had difficulties with it for the same reasons you mentioned. Steam also gave a copy of it some 2 years ago for free, so obviously I snatched it without thinking twice. Back when it was released gamers generally noted that it was the closest copy of Diablo 2. But it still felt different for me for the very reason that it wasn't as dark and grim as Diablo. I even wanted to make a walkthrough of Titan Quest Anniversary Edition, but wasn't sure if people would be interested in it. Also, the game is very long and I'm not sure you can go through all of it in 12 hours - which is RUclips's restriction. I also tried Grim Dawn, but I have to say that it didn't hit the spot the same way Titan Quest did. I guess great childhood memories are not something you can replace, since it still holds a special place in my heart. Thank you again for taking the time to write your comment, Alex.
7:24:47 you switched to the normal javelins, when you got rare War Javelins? Why? That mana steal on your normal javelins is negligible, since it's based on your physical damage, which was minimal. Am I missing something?
@@fullgametherapy Sorry to be so inquisitive. I hadn't realised that you were speedrunning the game. You did quite well in that respect, too; well below the 12 hour limit!
not unless they fix the loss of screen space, the zoom level in D4 is way too close, we need the ability to zoom out much further than what the game currently allows.
I can't help but notice that you were playing as if someone was chasing you. Was that done to keep the video shorter, or is that how you play in general?
You've got a keen eye Gen. Unfortunately, I believe only after I get 1k subs I'll be able to make videos that are longer than 12 hours, which will take away a whole lot of stress from making videos. But it's a speculation. Hopefully that feature will indeed unlock. Working on a barbarian video with full exploration, but it's hard to do within the time limit and on hardcore. 😟 Oh well, here's for hoping my friend 🍻😁
@@fullgametherapy Why not make separate smaller videos then? You could make a series of episodes, without having to worry about the time limit, if there is one. I hope you achieve your goal.
@@GenMaster I always wanted to have videos where people can find everything they want in a single clip. Multiple videos don't feel like they hit the same, and I'm still trying to perfect the art 😅
@@fullgametherapy I know. I still remember losing my Hardcore Paladin to a super unique Hierophant's Blizzard spell in Act III, Hell (pre-expansion). ~700 HP in one shot. Turns out there was no way that monster could have done so much damage, not with the attributes it had. The game just decided to kill me like that. Needless to say, that was my last hardcore character. I like a fair bit of difficulty, but unfair difficulty is where I draw the line.
@@GenMaster Were your deeds remembered though? 😄 I believe they fixed a lot of those bugs in time. And this remake really feels like a lot of thought were put in to it.
@@fullgametherapy I'm sure I'm the only one who remembers. That horrific moment is etched into my memory. Knowing it was probably a bug doesn't make it any better... Heya, Yeah the idea is pump stats to a point where you can wear your equipment. After that it's all about survivability, especially on hardcore. Amazon specifically is like a glass cannon, she can hit hard with her skills alone, but very susceptible to damage. Hope it helps :)
