Great shots Sam! Could you share what settings you used for these shots? Struggling to get a crispy clear video with my Mavic land I´ve tried so many different settings. Starting to think my Mavic is faulty... Thanks!
Hey Morten, I am a beginner relatively speaking but I always shoot in 4K, I always use manual camera settings, I tend to leave the ISO on 100 (the lowest) and adjust the shutter speed until I find the picture I am looking for. Hope that helps but there are tonnes of video tutorials on youtube too if you need more guidance.
Also, do adjust your white balance depending on what the conditions are!
I must say you do really good for a beginner! So you don´t use any specific picture profiles like D-log or Cinelike, and keep the sharpness, contract and saturation at zero? How do you focus? Manual/auto/afc?
Believe me, I´ve watched a ton of tutorials and tried so many different settings :) That´s why I think I might got a bad copy. Better be going back to my Phantom 4.
Thanks! Everything is default at the moment and I do use autofocus. I just make sure that it is focussed before I begin recording.
Morten Dodson shoot in D-Log, overexposed by 2 stops and then grade in post for best settings.
