You should have used cards for the poll (RUclips cards or the "i" in the upper rift corner) you can make them on your computer under the video then click on the "i"

+Fire Alarm Technologies You cannot do that at all, also they're called smoke alarms. Smoke alarms require AC power while fire alarm systems run on AC, but everything is powered by DC, you just can't do it.

Instead of a battery, he connected the power to the two connectors, then took out the piezo and had that activate the system as I recall. I've done it before with battery powered smoke alarms
