- Matt Doyle talks about the theme of brotherhood, love and joy in his new movie, "Private Romeo" (then titled "McKinley"), and performs the song that will play over the closing credits, "You Made Me Love You" at Feinstein's at the Loews Regency on July 26, 2010.
i am a man but i really have to say this, my ovaries just exploded. holy shit, so dreamy, fangirling so fucking hard. how to find such love as presented in the movie? just watched it like for the thousandth times, the Elizabethan English is giving me a hard time to understand as English is not my first language but I did tried hard to rewatch and rewatch to get the story of the movie. Holy freaking shit, such a nice movie.

Just finished watching the movie Private Romeo (“McKinley”). Wow! I’m speechless. It was beautifully done. 10 out 10, totally recommend it. We need more films like this. Thank you to the visionaries who put this together. P.S. This dude can sing.

He isn't saying the song is about a brotherhood. He was saying the movie was about that. He wanted the movie to be about the concept of love and not GAY love. The song in itself obviously isn't about brotherhood.

Sadly it no longer seems to be available on Netflix - in the UK, Aus or America. I did find it on iTunes though, for £6.
