It's great to see these Arabian horses so well-cared for and well-handled. I like how calm the horses are--Arabians were originally animals that lived closely with their owner families, which meant they needed a good disposition. Unfortunately breeders today rarely seem to care about disposition anymore. It's good to see the owners here are maintaining bloodlines with an emphasis on calm dispositions as well as beautiful conformation.
Yes unfortunately a lot of people (mainly outside of the Middle East) don't know how to properly handle arabian horses. They are not just any type of horse!!!!!! They have a natural disposition that needs to be respected and understood!!!!!

I read King of the Wind as a little girl, have had a love of Arabians ever since. My mother had a beautiful Arab mare. The Arab tribes that have bred & developed & documented the Arabian breed over the centuries, have created a truly remarkable, truly beautiful horse. Horse lovers the world over say thank u for such a phenomenal contribution to the equine world.
Used to be only into the warmbloods until a client of mine got me training several of her Arabians. I ended up buying one of her purebred Egyptian Arabians and he is the most wonderful, intelligent horse I have ever owned. Now showing him in the upper levels in dressage and looking forward to going PSG in about 2yrs. Lovely horses!

So disgusting - just to make their eyes look larger & more photogenic for photos. It actually becomes a permanent stain on many due to sun reaction & hard to use shampoo near their eyes.

I loved that book! Marguerite Henry's illustrations are wonderful! I read all of her books and fell in love with them!
