Was Mr. Bungle a “supergroup” because I knew Mike Patton was in Faith no More… but, I didn’t know Scott Ian (from Anthrax) was in this band as well as Dave Lombardo (Slayer)… who knew?!?
Patton was in Bungle before FNM. Scott Ian and Lombardo aren’t original Bungle members. This album is the very first Bungle album that was more of a home recording, it didn’t sound good. It was a straight up thrash album that was heavily influenced by Anthrax and Slayer! That’s why Scott and Dave joined when Mike asked, and Dave had been in one or two other bands with Patton. Fantomas and a Fantomas/Melvins project, and probably others too. Patton has always wanted to re record this album. Turned out great
Nobody seems to understand where this album and lineup came from and what it’s all about. What’s wrong, Patton can’t stand on his head long enough for you?
@@americanagothic7851 Everyone knows where the album and lineup is from, it's written on wikipedia. Doesn't change the fact that a band called Mr. Bungle currently play more Slayer songs than they do Mr Bungle songs.
@@johndcoffee632 they play their set plus a bunch of other songs. I don’t have to tell you that they don’t play “more slayer songs”, lol it’s just not true, you know it’s not true. What are you, 8? You really gotta make up your own narrative? Your way too cool for me and I guess it’s true, Patton can’t stand on his head long enough for you. Why don’t you become their management, then they can play whatever you want, with the original lineup. They can play my ass is on fire on repeat for you😀

Now we know Mr. Bungle's first name. He's Mr. Slanthrax Bungle.
The ex guitarists of Faith No More Jim Martin actually discovered Patton and asked him to join after catching a Mr.Bungle show
Thought these guys had costumes.
Yeah 30 years ago when they were kids
We want only feith no more
Did he whine about Wolfmother again? He’s a child.
No. That was once. 15 years ago.
That was years ago at The Big Day Out in Australia. F#$king RHCP got Bungle kicked off the 2000 bill, they are the whiny children.
Make Bungle Weird again.
