Oh! many ...Rock and roll , Heroin , Sweet Jane ,Venus in fin Furs ...Hey , Run Run Run as Foggey Nation were funnn , well love thenm all , my fav depends from my mood : )
Joy Division were definitely influenced. They covered 'Sister Ray'. And Stephen Morris certainly sounds like Moe on Joy Division's 'The Sound Of Music'. He obviously had heard 'The Gift'. Then there's the band Luna. I once read a review that referred to Luna as "Velvet Underground Jr".
You are the first one i see doing a tuto on Moe !! and thanks for doing this mate !! She is a legend and has such her unic style !!!!! Saw her once when they reformed the Vevet for a tour ..She was playing standing up too !!! well done mate .
I never knew she set up her drums that way. Underrated, for sure. My favorite song of theirs is I’ll Be Your Mirror but the lyrics in Heroin are up there.
Drumming like Moe Tucker, but you also sound a lot like Lou Reed on the Heroin part - well done! I am not a drummer myself, but very interesting video nonetheless!
Excellent, thanks for doing this. Having learned to play drums to classic rock, hearing these different styles is inspiring. I think the first drummer who caught my ear for doing something different in (almost) a rock setting was Jay Bellerose on Alison Krauss and Robert Plant's Raising Sand. I've since heard him on other things produced by T Bone Burnett, and he's never predictable. Would you consider doing a piece on him? Thanks! Big love.
Thanks for this, always nice to see Moe getting some appreciation! I just found your channel and I'm throughly enjoying your Drummer Styles videos, do you ever listen to Can and could you by any chance make one on Jaki Liebezeit? Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on his playing.
The greatest band. Heavily influenced our band. Great channel, btw. Our drummer is female and learning on the fly, so she's getting a lot out of this channel.
Favorite song by The Velvet Underground?
Over you

Love the way you focus on drummers that some people scoff at, it’s all about the song and serving it! Great job!
oh boy yes, my favourite drummer

Didn’t Think The Mallets Would Sound Any Different From The Sticks, But It Does… I Like It…

Wow I haven't listened to the murder mystery in years! Thanks for reminding me about it! I think my favorite Velvet Underground song is Venus in Furs
Such an informative and entertaining video. I love Moe's drumming!

The primal dirge funeral style drumming Mo Tucker played with the VU is harder than it seems. It’s a vibe…requires concentration and a trance,
Love you cobb
