Face is the GOAT. This was an amazing collab when it dropped, and is still relevant today. Face routinely goes hard with other top tier MCs and never comes out looking inferior, whether it’s Nas, Wayne, Jay, Bun B, etc. Scarface is HIM.
I agree. But if I had to pick the greatest 8 year period for mainstream Hip Hop Music, I have to pick 1986-1994. But if I had to only pick one year of the classic groundbreaking Hip Hop Album releases, I would definitely choose 1988.
Damn this came out in like 95! I remember buying this tape at a corner store in Buffalo New York!!! Then I went to Florida and did two years on vacation came back to Buffalo NY on probation. Lol
I don't think the Young Brother fully grasped the legendary status of this Collaboration two of the greats even at that time on a song and the content they had always rapped about fit that era perfectly and what was going on... Them people were afraid of Militant so called gangsta rap lyrics so much so they removed songs from 2PAC's 2nd album so what we have is raw but think of what they took off... This is definitely 10 out of 10 song and Album.. This is like if 2PAC and DMX at his height did a song together and Ceelow From Goodie Mob Sang the Hook.
Your missing out on a special 🍬🍫🍭 treat if 🫵 you haven't ⌚ watched (FREESTYLE #118 RAY VAUGHN).. Have your 👂 ears ready for 8min 15sec of 🤯 mind-blowing Barzzz. Ray Vaughn spits more 🔥🔥 fire than a 🐉 dragon on the 🎤 mic. Your guaranteed to hit the ⏯️ pause 🔘 button every 5 seconds because of so many Barzzz. This is one 🎥 video 🫵 you don't want to 🛌💤 sleep on. Your 🧠 brain will think it's 🏊 drowning in Barzzz when 👂 listening to the freestyle. Ray Vaughns ✍️ penmanship is Top-tier and off the ⛓️ chain. I'm officially ⚠️ warning 🫵 you about the ☣️ toxic Barzzz your about to 👂 hear. This entire freestyle 🎥 video is the 💣 bomb. I promise 🫵 you won't be disappointed. Peace ✌️...

You just had to be there in the 90's when this dropped to truly appreciate the weight of this track.
Khalid Abdul Muhammad was from Houston also
Scenario remix tribe called quest
N.O. Joe was the main producer on the song.
7.5 is laughable. This song has significant impact still to this day not just in the 90's. (10.0)
