Personally id rather own a 81 than a trans am than a 2021 corvette its all about the experience when your looking for a car to cruise in and it doesn't get any better than the t tops and the bird on the hood plus in the 98-02 cars you cant go wrong with a ls1 and a 6 speed or even the 93-97 lt1 that in my opinion sounds better than a ls just cant handle the same power
Pontiac is dead and so is the Trans Am. Camaro couldn't compete with Mustang in sales and Pontiac definitely couldn't. You will not see its return...trust me.
It's sad to see a brand like Pontiac dead. It might come back though with a whole new concept, take the Hummer for example, it had an unexpected comeback. What do you think a nice comeback for the Trans Am would be, maybe under a different sister brand like Chevrolet?
I have a 1969 Firebird 400 convertible, so it peaked my interest to watch this video. I figured they’d show a Camaro being taken apart and made into a Trans Am Bandit Edition Firebird from the company Trans Am Worldwide. Instead, this video makes no sense because there is no Firebird without Pontiac. The Firebird is not coming back. I’m only five minutes into this video and it’s been annoying right from the start. I’m closing it after I post this comment.
We appreciate your feedback. Our intention with the video was to showcase the transformation of a Camaro into the modern interpretation of the iconic Trans Am 455 Super Duty by Trans Am Worldwide. While we understand and respect the legacy of the Firebird, our focus was on highlighting the craftsmanship and performance of this unique conversion. If you have any suggestions for future videos, we're always open to feedback. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
One vehicle that does need to come back is the Chevrolet Astro van. I mean, just get rid of the Traverse and replace it with the Astro van. How Chevrolet killed off the Astro van was cold. If Chevrolet plans to bring back the Astro van, go back with the same formula as the last one, please.
@@simonl8082 Pretty much, but famously it had enough torque to twist the chassis enough for the dome light to come on under load as the doors separated from the body.
Absolutely, it's easy to see the Camaro roots shining through, but this isn't just any Camaro. While the exterior may resemble a Camaro, underneath lies the heart and soul of a Trans Am, it's a modern twist on a classic legend, aiming to capture the spirit of the Trans Am for a new generation. What do you think of this unique fusion of past and present?
It’ll never return. I mean they are discontinuing the Camaro……..again. So if the Camaro is gone why have the Firebird Trans Am around. Plus it’s a Pontiac. Even if it does make a return somehow, it’ll never be a real Firebird Trans Am.
You bring up valid points. The discontinuation of the Camaro does cast doubt on the return of the Firebird Trans Am, especially considering its Pontiac heritage. Recreating the essence of the Firebird Trans Am would indeed be a significant challenge. While we may not see a true revival, some enthusiasts are keeping the spirit alive through custom builds and modern interpretations. It's a bittersweet reminder of the iconic legacy these cars hold. What are your thoughts on the possibility of a comeback, even in a different form?
Indeed, the Trans Am holds a special place in automotive history, and its name carries a certain iconic status. It's unlikely that enthusiasts would let anything tarnish the legacy of such a legendary car. The passion and dedication of Trans Am fans ensure that its spirit lives on, regardless of any potential controversies. What's your favorite aspect of the Trans Am?
There won’t be any more Trans Ams until Pontiac comes back and makes them.
"Pontiac comes back and makes them"? _In our dreams!_ Is Oldsmobile coming back?
we want a Banshee too
Just so you know, even though they started out as " pony cars " they still remain " pony cars " . Not muscle cars .
Call it what you want to call it, they are muscle cars to me haha
@@garykreil5990 they are muscle cars the same way a V8 swapped rx-7 is.

Build it opposite a scrap yard, then when it comes off the production line, push it straight across the road.

They destroyed the El Camino too the new El Camino’s are hideous and look like a fackin HHR in the front lol
Of course, the fiber won’t be back, Pontiac is gone. I have a 1969 Firebird 400 convertible and I’m happy with that

Love this car! I will buy one for myself! Definitely! 💓
What year are you thinking? I want an '02
This is one of the coolest cars ever built. I love the design.
Indeed! Thanks!
Was never much of a car, and I got to drive a 73 455 4 speed regularly back then.
Is that a 455cu in with 2hp

Even more reason to wheel it straight off the production line to the nearest junk yard
GM needs to stop making vehicles for the wealthy and go back to making them affordable to regular people.
Geeze. .
Nice Camaro that’s all I see

Please don't bring it back. It would be electric and stupid.

“Trans” Am….. no way the crazies could ever turn this into an issue.
