Pure Caribbean -Curacao, of sandy beaches, the underwater world and a submarine (Part II)

Netherlands Antilles, Part II. Curacao is larger than Aruba and somewhat less dependent on tourism. The language in the film is in German, but you can activate English subtitles. In addition, the island is somewhat greener, covered with bushes and succulents. Scenically, Curacao offers more, national parks with "mountains", many cliffs, there are more possible activities on land. There are also wonderful Caribbean beaches, but they are mostly embedded in the cliffs, so they are much smaller than in Aruba. Curacao's capital Willemstad is more attractive than Oranjestad on Aruba, simply offering much more shopping and museums.
What is special and worth a trip alone is the snorkelling and diving. Here on Curacao, all you have to do is swim off the beach and you are immediately at wonderful reefs to explore the underwater world. On Aruba, you usually need a boat to take you out.
