Stevie OWNED the Album of the year Grammy Award for several consecutive years in the ‘70s. This album is currently rated the #4 in the Rolling Stone magazine’s list of 500 greatest albums of all time.
I'm a Bobbi Humphrey fan, and I also appreciate George Benson's music. I can understand that they would want to create music with a legend like Stevie Wonder. They really accomplished a work of art with "Another Star". That's why I'm watching this video.
No exaggeration...Just as every family had the Holy Bible in there homes during the 70s, when this album dropped you were guaranteed to find it in EVERYBODY's home...Period.
"As you so passionately stated Brotha Satori, "This Don't Get Old"!!!!❤🎶❤🎶❤❤🎶❤🎶❤🎶❤🎶🎶❤🎶❤🎶❤❤🎶 So. So "Happy", you have been "Blessed", by this incredible man, musician, and humanitarian!!! "The world does not get any better, than Stevie Wonder"!!!!!🎶🎼🎹 If you can turn on any of his songs, feel transcended to another world, spirit, and place, "You Know His Magic"!!!! It is just in many cases, from "Golden Lady", "Living for the City", "All is Fair", "Creep", and on and on, "Your spirit is always lifted!!!! Just keep digging into his catalog of genius!!!!🎧🎼🎵🎶🎙🎹🎛👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Stevie writes the most beautiful lyrics. “For you there might be another star but through my eyes the light of you is all I see.” It’s just the most romantic poetry.
Musical genius -- plays several instruments, superb lyricist. Stevie Wonder is truly a Wonder. You can listen to whole albums of Stevie's and EVERY song is great.
This man tried to give an insight into all genres of music way back then Latin, African, romantic, social comment ....check out the album "Talking Book" "Higher Ground " and be amazed.....
I’m really sad to say I’ve NEVER heard this song by Stevie before, I have downloaded it already!!!!🙌🏿🙌🏿….. thanks 2 whoever requested this, it’s def 🔥🔥🔥!!!!
Steviewonder was the first concert I ever went to in my life my mom took me to see him I was around 6/7yrs old then I'm 50yrs now.I played Stevie around my daughter and younger family members to introduce them to real music and musicians. Keep up the great work my G.
I've always loved listening to "Another Star". I like to read the comments because I learned that Bobbi Humphrey is playing the flute and George Benson is singing background at the end of this song. I'm just beginning to comprehend how great this song is. It was released in 1977. I didn't know about Bobbi Humphrey's amazing talent with the flute until 2005. It seems this song will never get old.
Thank you, my brother, for reacting to this Stevie Wonder gem. Your response at the end of this video was nothing less than the holy ghost...When music takes over your spirit and embraces your soul. Great music WILL ALWAYS stand the test of time. 👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was a huge underground club classic in such NY-NJ venues as Paradise Garage, The Loft, The Shelter, Melons, Bonds, Club Zanzibar (NJ), Docks (NJ), Sensations (NJ). Everybody spinning, twirling, high kicks, dives, flips, and that dope-ass footwork on top of the baby powder. To hear this on a Richard Long sound system it's INCREDIBLE! AWESOME!
Satori My G, your reaction to this song is just perfect! Next - “Maybe Your Baby” for Stevie’s funkier side, and “Fingertips” Stevie’s jazz solo recorded when he was just 12 years old.
The only time I enjoyed this song more this very moment is when I was fortunate enough to see it performed LIVE!!! He brought all of his guests back to the stage and everyone sang together just about everyone at the concert stood and were singing and dancing as well! Truly one of the best concerts I've ever been to.!!!!!
One of my all time favs from Stevie...the positive energy reverberated from beginning to end! I relate to your reaction ...I used to play this joint back to back to back...

This is my ringtone on my phone for a decade, so great is this song. It's CRIMINAL that it isn't mandatory indoctrinal learning for everyone everywhere… It lifts you up, makes your spirit sings, with that hint and flavor of Brazilian rhythms is the not just the icing, it's the cake.
