My grandma bought me Zelda in 1987 because she was getting tired of hearing the very repetitive music in Super Mario Bros. Even the first game's music was a big step up from everything else, and the music only got better as the series went on.
@nathanmciver6496 - My toddler Son and were just playing Donkey Kong vs Mario. Lol! Honestly a great little kid game that has been fun for me as well.
As an impressionable little kid, I think the music drew me into the Zeldaverse thru Ocarina of Time more than anything else. What a great intro to video games.
My dad bought me twilight princess as aused game for the wii when i was 8 or so, i used to come back from school and play it everyday, i got stuck at the first fishing task and got my mother to help me,i used to force my father to come and watch me play, it made me spiral down into this game series and i do not regret it
@@shiganomi that happen me to with yoshi story i borrow from a friend but was not really my fault, i was forced move back to the foster family an they took me away the same day show up i still feel bad i could never return the game, ):
I listened to it a month ago. The music stuck with me so much I actually got myself a used switch and the new zelda game. Amazing how music can affect our minds.
As both a car audio enthusiast and a Zelda fan, these are my favorite to play for bass wars. Clean, no clipping, and everyone always wants to know where the Zelda music is coming from lol
For real yes. It's wild. I've essentially dropped my entire collection of Decaf, Bassey Basem, DJSlowfet, DJSlowNThrow, Russticals, all of it. Now a days you're way more likely to hear low-fi beats to save middle earth to coming out of my tahoe than something like codene crazy.
I was 15 or so years old when Ocarina of time first came out. I had the gold cartridge edition and I will never forget playing that game for the first time. Thanks for this amazing lofi!
This comment brought back a memory of my first Zelda game which was OoT. My babysitter had a 15 yo son who got me into DBZ and fantasy gaming. He kept telling me that OoT was coming out and was super excited. I asked for it on Xmas 1998, One present a year family and all. I went to my 15 yo friends house for a sleep over for New Year's day. We both said we had surprises for each other and had our hands behind our backs holding our golden cartridges. We laughed so hard after revealing them for the first time together. I think that was the first night I stayed up past midnight :D. Thanks for unlocking that memory with your comment.
My brother and I played Windwaker when we were little and we could never pronouce or remember the Korok Makar's name, so we just lovingly called him Tubby and treated him like a sweet little kid. Seeing him in this pixel art makes me nostalgic, might pull out the ol' gamecube and have a run through WW again ^_^
Out of all the music I've listened to for working purposes; this mix is superior by far. Nostalgic, good enough to enjoy but not distracting. Superb work my friend. 🙂
Thank you so much for this! My all-time favorite game to play as a kid, this brought back some memories of figuring these challenges out and the joy of solving puzzles. Love the lofi spin on this - was absolutely perfect the entire way through!
I love this so much. Great work. Zelda's Lullaby tear me up. My dad gave me Ocarina of Time for Christmas when I was like 7-8 years old and the next year was Majora's Mask, if i remember correctly, and so on with all the Zelda games. I remember sitting with him and my Little Brother playing through the whole game, cause I could not understand or read English at that point. so he helped me with all the reading and I Held the controller (sometimes giving it to my Brother) :D Good good Fantastic times. Thanks for giving me this warm feeling inside when I hear your music.
Dragon Roost Island did not have to go this hard but I'm so glad it did! If you're taking request, I'd love to hear your interpretation of Ballard of the Goddess please!
The composer for the original Legend of Zelda, Koji Kondo, was forced to scrap his original overworld theme late in development due to a copyright claim. As a result, he wrote a new overworld theme in a single day. This new theme would go on to become arguably the most famous piece of video game music in history.
Zelda games have a way of hitting you right in the feels. At the end of ocarina of time when everyone is partying to the lost woods track it hits so hard. Zelda:Ocarina of Time is GOAT status.
I liked Mario okay, but Zelda was my jam when it was released. My 7-year-old brain learned to reason, memorize maps, and all sorts of other amazing skills to this music. Makes sense that it immediately puts me in a focused zone. Thank you! Truly awesome work.
Still remember the moment i finally got the master sword in orcarina of time. I was in my grandmas house living it up with pretzel sticks and fudge pops. Miss you grandma.
These are so good! I’ve been listening to Zelda Lofi for years and finally decided to start making and posting my own and I’m super glad I had people like you to pave the way. Awesome stuff.
Played origional zelda a couple years after it came out. Playing latest zelda to this day. I appreciate the tribute to a great series. Nintendo has always had spectacular music that a lot of people just hear as "video game music", but if you really listen..... then......
Could you actually imagine how amazing it must have been to have Navi be a professional “What’s that? Weaknesses?” fairy to ask about literally anything for a young hero that knew nothing about the world save his childlike and courageous heart. So he runs off into the lost woods with the Ocarina of Time, eventually becoming a Stalfos. Skull kid was probably gifted and hid the Ocarina the saved him, given his role in twilight princess as a guide to the hero as a mischievous foil and living in the woods that threaten such a dark fate for merely wandering its paths near the master sword.
Fantastic mix! It's always good to hear more Lofi zelda, and the attention to detail here is awsome - in both the art and music. Also... i'm loving the use of the Labs soft piano, you got it working really nicely throughout!
Wow man, this is simply amazing. First and second track took me back. Especially the second one. I used to love playing Ocarina of Time. A good Christmas Gift. Merry Christmas yah filthy animals!! ❤
This is amazing! I just found your work the other week and it´s stunning! Keep it up! If you´re up for suggestions I would absolutely love to hear your take on Chrono Trigger and/or Final Fantasy VI!
This is amazing, you music is phenomenal. I really appreciate the content you and other music content creators make, especially with allowing other people to use it in the their within their own content. Yep.. That's why the industry puts a lot of messed up messages and ideas in it.

36:37 bits & hits - Kokiri Forest - lofi version, reminds me a 60s song that talks about monday... can't remember, anyone? Great set! Gratitude!
Perhaps “Monday Monday” by the Mamas and the Papas? Good ear, I hear it too!
3:25 wow, well done here, I love this song in windwaker. Your version renders it well. Good job!

So many great picks here. Favourite in this playlist is probably Song of storms.
This is way better than i expected. certainly better than it has any right to be.
10:58 Great Fairy Fountain and 8:15 Zelda's Lullaby have always been my 2 favorite songs of the entire franchise. This lofi version....is just sick 😎
I randomly just clicked on this and I was knocked back by how good it is
Wow, that nostalgia hits hard here.
Started with OoT, loved it, MM came out and became my #1 game ever. Hasn't changed. The Zelda games are so special.
