I’m surprised that Eric Samus, known to be an encyclopedia of smash game knowledge, didn’t know that Mario with a PhD has a wall jump.
I don't think Dr. Mario had a wall jump in Smash 4, and he certainly didn't in Melee, so that's probably why. He just got the wall jump in Ultimate.

I like this concept a lot! Maybe next time echoes or their counterparts can be skipped over if the echo or counterpart for the player is higher up in their list. That way we won’t have that Daisy situation. ESAM could maybe have the next lowest played character in his matchup selection in that case

He's actually right. The Japanese is デデデ/Dedede/The same way Esam pronounced it. Japanese is a syllabary so there's no ambiguity in how it's pronounced. I'm pretty sure the agreed upon English pronunciation is DiDiDi though.

To answer Esam's thing he asked about, it's both. How you may ask? In Japan it is said one way and the US it is said the other way, but Japan also doesn't have King in his name. I also will continue to put this out until people accept Esam saying it the way he does.
Well, my main language is spanish, so we call him: Rey Dedede, but if we pronunciate the english name we say it King "Dididi"
