    Hey man! Looking good! Leaving for Istanbul in 2 days for a VeraMax session at Vera also! They’ve been really well reviewed and saw amazing results from them. Pretty stressed of the 2 days of torture and anesthesia haha. Can’t wait to see your progress next month!

      Thank you, and good luck man, that’s super exciting! I also did my research on them before I went, and had personal friends go there too and I’ve seen their results.
      The procedures flew by to be honest. Plus two days of discomfort for life changing results… trust me it’ll be worth it!
      If you want peace of mind just have them take progress pics throughout. Such as a pic of the grafts before they implant them, and a pic of the donor sight and transplant sight like I had done.
      I tend to refer back to my pics to see how things are actually shaping out to be.
      The aftercare is the most important thing to follow. And the biggest thing I’ve learned is that for the first 5/6 months it’s a mind game. Just stay positive and trust the process like other people say to do.
      Thanks for following along with me!

    Sincerely wishing you the best. Its good to see your getting some growth! That number of grafts in one session is very rare and has inherent multiple risks including graft survival rates and yeild rates often being compromised. Can you tell if there are only singles in the hairline and slightly back? Singles are the only way to get a soft natural feathered hairline going back into mid scalp and into the lateral humps. Also the angling of the grafts is also very critical. Just curious do you know if they used the lateral slit technique and did they create a whorl pattern for the crown? Those are critical techniques for naturalness and coverage and practiced religiously by clinics that have been veted by the IAHRS as well as the HTN. Sorry about the number of questions but do you remember how many techs were loading pens and how many were planting? Anyway good luck to you, and I'll keep following your journey. Thanks for the update!
    BTW, I am happy to see your donor area is getting good growth coverage over the extraction sites. There are thousands upon thousands of cases out there of over harvesting that can make the donor area look as what has been described as a "moth eaten" appearance.

      Thank you for following along with me in my journey. And thank you for the wishes! And I agree about having singles in the front. I asked them to keep it natural and have single hairs in the front line. But once my hair started growing in I noticed that there were a mix of some singles and some multiple grafts in my hairline. Google translate can only go so far I guess lol! I received around 4,000 to 4,500 grafts each session. It definitely was a large procedure over two days. I was originally against doing a mega session, but they were in favor of it because I had a thick donor area and sold me on it. I don’t recommend having a large procedure and if I could do it again I would have staged it. But here we are 😬.
      I know the whorl technique on the crown is ideal, though I believe they did a lateral slit on my crown. There were around 4 techs in the room during my procedure. I can’t recall exactly what each one was doing. At one point during my first procedure there were the 4 techs and 2 surgeons crafting my hairline and making sure everything was looking good.
      Yeah I feel like my hair has been growing back in nicely so far to cover my scars. But it definitely is thinner than before! That was to be expected though.
      Again, thank you for following along! And thanks for the questions.
      Cheers.

    Damn your donor really took a beating but still looks good though considering the number of grafts you got. I expect the hair to thicken up in the next 6 months leading to 1 year post-op. I hope you are taking some dht blocker such as finasteride otherwise soon or later the hair will start thinning again. Great results so far.

    • @Shortboxing47
      @Shortboxing47 7 месяцев назад

      The hair transplant hair won’t thin it’s his existing hair that might thin… but by looking at this guys head I don’t see him having any problems with his transplant

    • @TerryMcVicci
      @TerryMcVicci 7 месяцев назад

      @@Shortboxing47if you do not take finasteride it will soon or later. Some hairs from the donor area are DHT sensitive. Professional clinics would tell you to start medication therapy after getting a hair transplant. Some people end up being disappointed a few years down the line due to failure to do thorough research.

    I see you cut your hair regular. My Consultant told me to wait until the 6th month to do the first haircut. I’m curious what they’ve told you?

    • @Rumoozay
      @Rumoozay  8 месяцев назад

      I had my donor hair area trimmed with clippers at 3 months. Then around month 4.5 or 5 I had my donor and recipient hair trimmed with clippers at the same length to grow even.
      My clinic recommended to wait 1 month to use clippers on donor and/or recipient. And no cutting with a razor on donor till month 6, and no cutting with razor on recipient until month 12.
      There’s no standard rule. Every clinic has their own best practices they believe works for their patients. 👍🏼
