- "The Terminator" received critical acclaim for its innovative use of practical effects and its gripping storyline. It became a significant success, both commercially and culturally, and played a crucial role in establishing James Cameron as a prominent filmmaker. Arnold Schwarzenegger's portrayal of the Terminator became iconic, and the film is considered a landmark in the science fiction genre.
This video is created so that my viewers can feel the difference between the original video and the video that I created. - Кино
I have watched T1 and T2 both a gazillion times and honestly, nothing beats T1. The atmosphere, the horror, darkness and also Arnold at his peak coming off the Conan movie looked as big as a house at around 240 lbs. He truly looked menacing and unstoppable.
That's the first thing I noticed in T2. Arnold had shrunk down to about 210. He was no longer a monster but an action hero.
@@duprez2 Yes exactly.
Agreed. T1 the best.
@@duprez2 Arnold was on the juice in T1 and was actively doing steroids for movies especially the Conan and training very hard so he was around 240 lbs in T1. He had stopped doing steroids by T2 and was not training with heavy weights as he was 44 at the time so he was only about 215 lbs in T2.
Yeah T1 was a cult sci-fi horror movie whilst T2 was more of a big budget box office Hollywood hero movie. I was lucky enough to have seen both movies in the cinema and both were breathtaking! My favourite movies hands down. James Cameron is a genius!! CGI has killed movies in my opinion.
Can’t believe this movie is 35 years old. I have a ‘terminator movie poster’ in my room...so many people now gone who starred in this movie. The guy at the gun shop who sold Arnie his weapons.....the black police chief. Bill Paxton...and I’m sure many more. Life is SOOOO short.
The "future terminator" too...Franco Columbu died three months ago.
Not an actor himself, but the Stan Winston also passed away. He and Cameron together were pure gold.
Now Earl Boen, "Dr. Silberman" of T1, T2 and even T3, is also gone.
This Film can Be shown 300 Years from now and it'll stick KICK ASS
this 30min better than T3,T4,T5, and T6
T3 was nice
@@swevven6663 so was t4
Those 4 sequels were stupid and pathetic.
Not T3
The original will always be the best no matter what anyone says! (even though we all love T2)
Absolutely! The original was scifi/horror. The others were just action films.
Same.
I'm literally about to watch it right now
Good to see the "killer" and the "victim" together. :)
At 3.09.
Szia.
_yeah, the first Sarah Conner to be killed. That slide hit me as well._
Arnold IS the Terminator.
Nobody can play the terminator great than Arnold.

@@bytemevv-4616 True, 80s 90s were so lively & creative, now its all about money and virtual world

Good idea, dude!
The Terminator " the best movie" classic forever! Amazing work visual efects
James Cameron is a genius, he made a decent SIFI movie with just a few equipments.
I like that bar song, it's a great song for The Terminator. Wow, I can enjoy that song.
Nice
The music of this video is really cool! Terminator rules ever!
Great compilation. Watching in 2020.
that reminds me of my childhood, really a awesome film i ever watch
There was more love and passion put in to the 1984 and 1991 Terminator then Dark Fate
*_Great montage_*
_along with the music, very entertaining_
What a trip! Thanks for this. 😘
Love the opening track used here. I don't care what anyone says, Power Glove's soundtrack to Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is the TRUE soundtrack to Terminator 2.
Arnold Terminator!!

素晴らしい。
amazing footage omg thats so RARE to find.
Great photographs !
I looooove the music !!!
This is really a great collection. Thank you Totality...
Wow you can almost watch the entire movie in this video.
fantastic video
"i'll be back!"
I will be back. Arnold wanted to say that but, it wasn't good enough.
The Terminator head with damaged flesh on the left side really looks awesome in the first part. I love the image at 9:10. It's like from a horror! That's how the Terminator always should be. In the subsequent movies it just looks much too polished.
Great soundtruck
Great video. Stills from the movie help one appreciate things like lighting and framing... something you can't do while watching the actual film.
Awesome love it great job!
Great video man...always love that kind of style of the 80's...and the synt music, just amazing. I hope you keep making those tribute videos, like the one of RoadHouse or Steven Seagal. Thx and keep up the good work!
Thx,man
Totality can you list all the songs you have used? I need these for my drive to and from work!
awesome! you got me burnin.i think that was the song playing at the tech-noir with reverb when they were dancing.
That is a cool song that should still be playing at clubs and bars.
3:22 "better than mortal man deserves!"
He'll find her. That's what he does. That's all he does! You can't stop him!
He's a real heartbreaker
He'll reach down her throat & pull her f*cking heart out!
Well, you stop him in this movie.
@@hectorlopez1069 My comment was a quote from the film, what yours is, I do not know.
Epic!
awesome, totally awesome!
It can be awesome for so long
Arnold loves to smoke his cigars, behind the scenes.
Thank you , i love terminator .
Oh yes, the graphics of the 80s are the greatest.
11:47 Wayne Rooney behind Arnold :)

Tech Noir slow mo is brilliant film making.
"True Art work."
I cant even imagine how it was cool in a real time. Real time reconstruction

at first but then they add more and more behind the scenes shots
Good job
What is this great music? Sounds like pet shop boys. I love this sound. Please give us the whole truck list, you have used
Terminator James Cameron technical high best work
Agreed. With the small budget he had and the technology he had to work with back then, he did an amazing job.
Absolutely. T1 is his best work ever, Aliens at number two.
Would be very interested in a track list so I could look into the people who composed the songs. Especially the first track.
Back when there were ash trays everywhere and smoking was like breathing.
Back when you could smoke anywhere you want, like the restaurants, police stations, and supermarkets.
Watch this again and again and enjoy it.. Timeless classic and launched Arnold into the biggest movie star in the world 🌎
05:59 the day you tell your boss to drop dead and he will listen becouse the way you look at him :)
36 years aged old wine
Thank you so much 👍👍
T1 & T2 best

_@__20:49__ Cop and his dummy double from the "I'll be back" scene_
hahaha
The first time Arnold said that line in his life.
This is an just like comic.
5:21 this looks dangerous despite the use of blanks
Terminator 1 Happy 36 year
38 years old. It was Arnold's finest film.
I was wondered How he found time to consistently keep training with the insane schedule of a film-shoot.
mmm nice Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Soundtrack
The fuck you, ass hole” part was a really good part that had humor and made cents cuz the punk he killed in the beginning said that to him and he learns to
Wow why was all this not inside the ultimative T1 DVD box.. Where did you get all those picture 10/10
But question I always wanted to know. WHY or HOW did Arnolds haircut change to short hair in the middle of the movie 😁
Fire.... So hot Fire....
The terminator realized he could infiltrate the humans easier if he used dry ice because dumb humans seem to be more relaxed if they feel like they are dancing in a burning building.. 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀🔥🔥🔥🔥🏢🏢🏢🏢🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃😀😀😀😀
After tech-noir hes chasing reese and Sarah down the alley & reese blows up the car & terminator jumps through fire onto car
A new Terminator is coming, wait for it... Its called, 'T-SHIRT', 😎- ☕ 👕 🤣
The third track , after Perturbator - Tech Noir is Counting Stars by Noizz Factor, the fourth (and second ) escape me but the fifth is a variation on Escape from Poilice Station by Brad Fiedel the sixth is Dubmood - Main Theme (Richard Theme) ruclips.net/video/1nvQ7KQohVs/видео.html
Next (second to last track) is Burning in the Third Degree by Tryanglz .
back when it was scary that a "man" could get up after being shot 3 times with a shogun!
That can still happen if a person is wearing a bulletproof vest.
17:27 that right there is what a cyborg from the future should look like. Eerie.
p1zzaman yea not some gay ass dude who sells drapes like wtf
i am The Terminator..
😎👍
Does anyone have any idea of what the name of the track is that starts around 8:15? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Andrew McCarthy, there's an app called "music id". You can download it to your phone from the Apple Store. You just hold your phone up to any music and it will identify the song and artist and you can buy the song from iTunes.
5:23 god, what is going on?
wow, thanks for the reply. Guess you're a big fan?

The gun is pointed a good distance away from the stunt woman's face. Camera angle is King here. You can see Arnold was new to fire arms or exploding props back then.

I think some of this music is from Far Cry: Blood Dragon soundtrack mixed in with some of the Original Terminator soundtrack. Fun fact, Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese) was the main character in Blood Dragon.
Reese stole the homeless man clothes.

Nope another sequel that went wrong this movie is the best by far .. 35 years later and this movie is still badass
Arnold Schwarzenegger is a good actor and his birthday is on July 30th and he is going to be 71 years old in seven months and thirty days and I'll be 19
He's now 75 years old in July 2022.
