I have created a complex L1 data flow diagram and would like to add number to the arrows in order to create a dictionary for the readers easy to understand a flow, this will also help avoid putting lot of text on the arrow label. Last resort I will do the put number on the label itself and right/ left justify it.
Thank you for your Comment. The pro version give you access to more templates and shapes than the Standard, plus if you want to collaborate via SharePoint etc you would need the Pro version.

May I ask a question, I tried the dropping org position one over the other and when I dragged I do not see them connected and also I put Multiple shapes over the org shape ( Manager), A task shape blank box appears not the selection pop you have demonstrated, is there a setting I need to do? Thanks a ton.
Is it possible to create a reusable template in Visio? For example, I need to create cash flow diagrams for over 250 investments, and while each is a little different than the next, having a starting-point template would be so convenient.

yes put the main items and and then saves as template should do it.
HOW DO I CONVERT A SMARTSHAPE TO A BASIC SHAPE?
I don't think they have added a feature for this
