After he came out to accept his award with Tsui Hark, he was beaming happily so there was no fighting or duelling done, it was amicable. As Li Xian actually sat in seat 227, it is not false that he and Yibo switched seats. Since then, there have been comments passed by solo fans of both XZ and Yibo that they see things more realistically now, that Yibo refused to sit in the bad seat in alliance with XZ so there is no enmity, despite the fact that such enmity has been vigorously put forward as a story for years now by elements within the industry. Whether this enmity has been promoted by Sina Weibo in order to make a profit from all the subsequent fan warfare, is a question mark in my mind. Their tactic to raise 227 again is backfiring as more people realise they have been getting conned all this time by a false labelling of Yibo - they should have realised this young man is upright, honest and would never be disloyal to anyone. I know there are elements of both fandoms who will stick with that story of enmity and refuse to see otherwise because it means admitting they were wrong but that is human nature.

This time 28 was to be Li Xian, Yibo was 27 and an older actress was 26, then 3 other actresses in 25, 24 and 23 including Yang Zi but not sure which seat she was in - maybe 25? and then XZ in 22. It meant there were 4 seats between XZ and Yibo which some said has to do with death? I don't know if that impacted it or not. Also, it has since been clarified that it was Weibo staff who removed the seat tag - they led each star into the venue so that was why it was thought to be both Yibo's team and XZ team. So it looks as if Weibo carried out a little manoeuvre first, to force Yibo to sit in this seat number, then when he changed with Li Xian which would have solved the matter quietly, they then made a public display of removing the seat tag to emphasise the number. Quite interesting!
