The "epic" sections are their triumphs/tense portions of the story, the excitement clearly showing through. Then we get to the softer bits, and these are the character remembering the little stuff. Maybe they do talk about it, maybe they don't, but the little stuff always brings a longing smile to their face.
the fact that i could imagine the partner describing every aspect of the hero with so much admiration in their voice- recalling the ups and down of their adventure it flows so well with the music, i could totally imagine this scene

I've always adored these soundtracks- they're something well and truly special, and they've managed to touch my heart in a way that's only ever been matched by emotionally-driven tracks from things like Kingdom Hearts and Undertale. The farewell themes are some of the most important tracks in these games, and have stuck with me for years. I love how you referenced the motifs of all of them in these, while still having it be an original work. You did a truly phenomenal job.
The first and second games were magical, I think a miracle happened for the dev team to come together like ti did to produce both of those masterpeices. We'll never get another PMD quite as good as those first two generations. I loved PSMD but it didnt have the same magical charm that the first two generations had... I'm looking forward to replaying PMD2 all over again soon now that my memory of it has faded and I might be able to run through all those same emotions again. If there was a superpower I could have in this life, it would be the power to make myself fully forget the experience of something just so I could relive it again so things like PMD and other amazing media can be reexperienced.

you never know how much something means to you untail you lose it although Grovile said that we came here knowing we had nuthing to lose and now we do have something to lose (our partner) i dont really think thats true the pokemon who is loseing something isnt us but our partner if we didnt change time then we would lose our partner us changeing time made our partner lose us I can only imagein how hard it must have been for the partner after you dissaper haveing to go home with everyone expecting the three of them to come back for there to be celabrateing and expecting things to finaly go back to normal only to have all of that crushed at the end and haveing tell everyone what happen to you and Grovile but yet when everything falls apart your partner still carrys on fighting the flood of tears on there way home I realise that the game isnt real and all but when you can feal a persons suffering and hardships like this then you know it isnt an normal game the sadness your partner feals at the end in one way or anther you could also feal it the only thing that could have made it beter is for there being dialog for your partner telling everyone at the guild about what happened i know one thing for sure it wasnt you who made your partner strong you were just the push they needed its there will that made them strong the will to carry on and go home after a lost is one of the strongst things out there Just some food for thought 😊
