In the near future, people willingly undergo a procedure implanting a microchip on the nape of their neck that allows them to alter their perceptions. Those with the device can change the way they see themselves by choosing their ideal face and physique, and other people with the implant can envision their beautiful faces as well. However, since the brain needs to rest, the chip only activates for twelve hours a day. Vincent, an average-looking security guard, meets Stella, an attractive barista. Since they're aware that they both underwent the procedure, they try to make their relationship work with the limited time each day, worried the other might find their true selves unappealing.
