If you want higher top speed, I've always bought the "Increase Body Rigidity" option. It always makes cars go much faster if not a little faster. Just have to sacrifice a few Performance Points for it
Or adjust your gear ratios
I hope one day a racing game will show these eco boxes just falling apart at speeds if you don’t buy rigidity, it would be hilarious
That's strange - why would it have any effect on top speed, it SHOULD only increase stability!
Indeed in older GT games, it used to always raise PP ratings, while in this game, it almost always lowers it!
However the Beat is one of the few cars, the rigidity upgrade raised a couple of points! 😯😂😀🤘

If u do a custom race instead of an arcade one to test top speed, theres a setting u can change which allows the nos to last 10 times longer which obviously makes it easier to properly test top speed
You should make a K20 Honda Beat. they go 300mph+ with a propper setup and max tuned
The K20 does great in the Abart 595 too

Get the Fiat 500 Abarth SS and drop the Honda K20 engine into. All it does is wheelie, especially if you put all ballast to the rear. Its very fun haha

Cappucinos are such cool cars! My mum had one in the 90s and kept it in pristine condition before she sold it in to a guy from the U.S (I'm in Australia) in 2005. Only 64 horsepower but that thing is FAST. Nice to see it Theo-ified

I would love to ask if there's any engine swaps for the Mazda RX Vision GT3 Concept. It's my favourite car in GT Sport; but in that game, it's not that powerful and most cars out speed it on the Nurburgring and Special Stage Route X.

Gran Turismo finally did what I was able to do to an unlimited degree in Racing Lagoon, a 1999 oddball of a racing game by Squaresoft that's lesser known compared to Initial D, and I'm so happy about it. That game let you put a Lambo engine in a Mini and if you wanted, you could have a bus chassis on top of it as well. The combinations were ridiculous. So the first thing I did was make replicas of all the character cars in Racing Lagoon. It's all so good, man.

Theo the next Engine swap u should definitely look into in GT7 is the VW Bettle and Sambabus and the Jeep With the Hell Kitty swap, both crazy fun builds imo 😁

Next swap you should check out is the nissan silvia s13 Q, make sure it's the Q and not the K, they have 2 very different swaps and the swap for the Q makes it a straight line, top speed machine
Love this game..from the day I played the first game on last day of high school I fell in love with this game..and fast forward 25 years later it still is awesome..the only thing left is to add ..som California canyon roads or European roads to the game ..and simulate the race car's with Tyre pressure and have full pit crew for practice runs in time trials
I just did the RX7 engine swap on my second Cappuccino (after upgrading my first one as high as it would go with stock parts), and it's rather strange and hard tell if it's better!
With the stock engine and max tuning, the car goes just over 140 mph with no more power from the engine, so no point in doing gearbox tuning, but it's still a nice and easy car to drive, it just needs more power, so i thought the engine swap (my first!), would be perfect!...
Before talking about how the build went, first i really have to recommend tuning the Honda Beat - despite supposedly having quite a bit less torque and a tiny bit less power than the fully tuned "stock" Cappuccino, it's pretty great, it sounds amazing and it pulls!
Put doing all engine upgrades and no gearbox tuning, mine was going 145mph and begging for more, i tuned the gearbox a bit and it easily goes 165mph, with some power left and is still easy to drive!
The swapped Cappuccino goes 135 mph without gearbox tuning, however if you try to fit it with a racing gearbox, it suddenly can only do 110 mph!
Tuning that gearbox, got it up to 165 mph and it will go faster, but it's all over the track and unsteady on its' suspension, when it has the same suspension and settings as the "stock" car!
Investigating other upgrades is strange and seems counter productive!
It can be fitted with four turbos, but most of them either only increase its' PP by one or two points or non at all!
Meanwhile, anti lag, which i never like using but i still investigate, normally raises PP a point or three, regardless of how it makes the car sound and rev (worse!), but in the swapped car, anti lag makes its' PP worse!
On gearbox replacements, it's strange that in GT7, the various gearboxes you can buy only change gear ratios and make shifts smoother, then never add or remove gears as they did in older GT games - the swapped car in particular, really needs a six speed box, but there's no way to change that in this game!
All in, it's quite different to the "stock" car, buf hard to drive and hard to tell if it's better than it! 😯😂😀🤘 .

I got the Escudo engine from the roulette before this update and just slapped into a GTO, not the craziest but still fun. I’m yet to fully upgrade it because i’m saving money for some legend cars tho so i don’t know the full potential
I found the swap to be less fun than the stock engine, first 3 gears are slow with mine

I just discovered this a hour ago and I highly recommend getting an RX7 and putting the ls7 rampage in it would make for a good video and you will have a lot of fun with the car
i like the odometer in the cockpit view is accurate to the miles on the car and you can watch change as you drive

286 if you max out the Bugatti, I forgot to add nitro though
Update I hit 312 after tweaking the gears with nitro. Could improve on it though
8:04 I think the engine's power plummets past the beginning of the RPM redline. I've seen that plenty of times in several GTs and a couple of Forzas.

Try the old vw beetle engine swap, it has a 3.6L flat 6 but its only naturally aspirated but it makes like 560hp maxed which is probably enough, "probably" lol

You need to get another one, engine swap, ultra high turbo and anti-lag, then racing softs on rear, comfort mediums front. Ballas 200kg to rear and fully cust gearbox, nkthkng else NO suspension cjange from stock and then film your reaction.
