And yep, going back to an old type of BB after their faith in press fit proves that if they were wrong in the past with that, they could well be wrong now.
Very nice video. The one that convinces me to get one. Question about the wind tunnel how do the researches simulate bike yaw and lateral play? a real ride is not perfectly perpendicular to the ground nor is the bike supported with balancers.

My summary of the fallacies of Specialized: '45 seconds faster' is a bad way of putting it; there are no other given units (for what speed over what terrain, if real world?), tested in their own wind tunnel (not independently, even the video clips show the riders head on as well) without realistic factors (rider on the bike, wheel combos) etc. Also, the graph they show has no axis units (so there's no way of telling the margin of improvement against other bikes, plus how are those measured? Probably in a weird condition where their bike is faster). The graph also shows that the bike is a compromise of both bikes (heavier than the SL6, less aero than the venge). None of it makes scientific sense, it's all cheeky testing. And yep, going back to an old type of BB after their faith in press fit proves that if they were wrong in the past with that, they could well be wrong now.
They are trying to convince their consumers, that having one bike is best, but really they are probably trying to cut down on manufacturing costs, by reducing the different types of frames they have to produce.
@@binkzera2777 Manufacturing costs wouldn't be the problem- once they've got the moulds for the frames then they're dead cheap to make in the factories.
