They’re fucking hilarious 😂
Madonna still "showing off her body/desperation" 30 years later
them do rocking some dope styles 👌 👌👌
Billy!!! Mikey!!! Roddy!!! Helmet"Meantime" !!!!!!!
I saw Helmet open on the Angel Dust tour in CT
Both killed it
Helmet had a more pleasant guitar tone
They are about as avant garde as a band could be, and a damn good one at that.
Billy Gould seems pissed off here early on in the interview .
The poor interviewer. Lol this is Peak FNM. They Are SO DONE with the "image" of rock n roll. AD is my fav album. It wasn't at first.(my confused friend, just gave me the disc in 1993)...but it grew on me as time went on(the only CD in my car for a long time). This is like an anti-interview..but 4 real: AD, is such an inventive, strange album, it defies conventional description 30 years later. And that's how you know your on the cutting edge. When new words have to be invented to describe your creations.
I had a similar experience with this album back in the day. My buddy passed me this CD because he didn't "get it", and within less than an hour of listening, it became one of my favorites of all time and has remained so since.
I always notice that mike never said to much about the albums that he made or he seems like he doesn't even care about it lol
He's said many times, thats he see's it like raising a kid, when it's done, "it's 18" and time to f**k off and fend for itself.
Best/Worst intervieweez eva
mike has some classic bateman vibes goin on looks like hes about to kill someone especially when she brings up red hot chili
at the 22nd minute of this inter view the interviewer looks like she's being held hostage and is praying that mr.patton is not angry at her for her hair colour she was born with it's not her fault she's too young to die please don;t kill her oh my god wtf is it her accent thats irritating him combined with her coorporate mannerisms or just the moment she mention red hot chili its not her fault energeticly in the room shes terrified at this moment for her life and is glad the two other gentlemen are present to maintain the facade that she feels safe after everyone in the room laughing about a really funny rape joke and relating with being labeled as a dumb blonde . classic interview moment time capsule of a cultural sensitivity gap between modern times and the 90s.
