honestly, the studio version is hard to top, and she didn't top it here... I'd greatly appreciate it if some Sara B. fans would check out my channel for live piano & vocal covers of classic 80s/90s songs (including a version of CHASING THE SUN... i do the performances without any electronic audio equipment, using only the piano, my voice, and the acoustics of the room. Thanks and please pardon the self promo.

There could be no bigger Sara B fan than myself, but with the release of The Blessed Unrest, dropping the entire band after 9 years, and poppy overplayed songs like Brave it's just really sad as a fan right now. The blessed Unrest as an album was actually good, but this is the first time where I have ever said the album is better than live. Am I the only fan who thought Sara and Javi, Josh, and Daniel were the best live band ever. Saw her live with the new band and actually thought they were pretty bad. If they were good I would have been honest and said they are just as good. I guess I am the only fan who saw how invaluable Josh, Daniel and Javi were musically. Hopefully Sara will eventually get back to just sitting at the piano and making the best live music like she used to. I really liked Chasing the Sun and thought she would elevate it exponentially live like she always did in the past but not with this band. Sad.

you are totally correct Isaac, you might be the first person to say that. Everyone just supports Sara blindly. I've now realized how important Javi, Josh, and Daniel were to her live performing brilliance.
I'm so thankful after 9 long years she finally came to Australia for a proper tour.
