- In this DIY storage video, How-to Mason Jar Screw Storage, I show the full build of an age-old fastener organizer idea for workshop storage. Good shop storage ideas are hard to find, but this one is great. Hanging mason jars by their lids has been a go-to organizing system for shops for a long time due to their availability, low costs and you can see what's in them. Nail storage and screw storage are just the beginning to what all you can organize in clear jars. Thanks for watching!
Best,
Shane

I'm 60. Dad used to take old jars from pickle relish or mayonnaise or whatever and screw the lids to the bottom of his wooden shelves for storing nuts and bolts and such. So easy to see, unscrew, get what you need, and put it back. :)
It looks fabulous!
Such a great idea. Is there any tweaks you would have made since doing this and has it stood the test of time?
Came over from The Crockers.
Thanks!!
Nice
Keep your peanut butter and mayo jars, and put Everything small in them... No dust, no junk drawers, unbreakable, free, air-tight, and you can find everything!
I am thinking of the same thing, glass jars are breakable.
No trail mix or beef jerky?
