[LG Washing Machine] - How to stack an LG Dryer on an LG Washer with a Stacking Plate

- This video describes how to stack an LG tumble dryer on an LG Washing Machine using a Stacking Plate.
The LG stacking plate model DSTWH (sometimes found as DK1W) fits on most 55 cm deep washing machines and is supplied with 3 adapters, so also other depths may be supported. In case of doubt, please contact your local LG support channels.
Note: Please make sure you peel off all (4) tape protection covers before mounting the plate holders to the washer.

Hello, can the washer F4WV9512P2W(565mm) and the dryer RC90V9AV2W(660mm) be stacked?
Make a separate shelf for tumble dryer above washing machine . No vibration from washer affecting dryer and if you put router mat under front feet of dryer it will not move at all !
Can I stack a RC80U2AV4Q onto a F4J7TY1W with this kit? The washing machine is 56cm deep, while the dryer is 69cm deep.

But when I buy LG DSTWH, I was given a slightly different adapter. The left rear leg of the dryer cannot be slid. That's why I would need exactly your adapter in the video.
That is unfortunate. The stacking kit should be supplied with different adapters, each for a specific size of washing machine. If your kit does not have all adapters, please contact your point of sale or contact LG Service in your country,

Hey LG, Why did you eliminate the front access panel to service the dryer?
Also why did you eliminate screws and switch to clinching method to make maintenance a costly/time consuming nightmare?
The world does not need more "throwaway" appliances...
And eliminating the light inside the dryer is equivalent to a 12 oz. Soda having only 11.5 oz now.

Apologies for the (very) late reply. These brackets should be mentioned of the manual as well and are for various washing machine depths, so you only need 1 of the 3 sets and mount them on the back of the washer.
Hi there. I purchased this stacking kit (DSTWH) for a F2W208S0E washing machine. Unfortunately, I cannot apply the stacking kit onto the machine since the holder parts would not go into the right place. It would not fit because specific parts at the edge of the machine do not allow it. What can be the solution?
Can you please double-check your model number? If the width is 60 cm and it's not an LG Signature model (and 1 or 2 other models excepted) it should work. Otherwise you may want to try and contact your local LG contact center so they can help you out.
Cannot be found anywhere this product and yes I contacted customer centre In Australia and they sent me to Statewide appliances who don’t have this model in the video. Where is this model to be bought online ?

Yes they are definitely compatible. The LG stacking plate model is DSTWH (sometimes found as DK1W). Not sure where in the UK you could purchase it, but the model number should help a lot. Otherwise, please contact UK Contact Center.

I'm afraid not. You need a 600mm wide washer to place the dryer on.

The LG stacking plate model DSTWH (sometimes found as DK1W) as demonstrated is recommended for his model. If you do not want a plate type of stack, LG offers stacking brackets. They may be supplied with the dryer. If not, check for part 5001EL2001H (a whole set with stacking brackets, screws and external drain hose).

well, what is tall? ;-) A total stack comes to ~1m69cm, with the dryer controls a bit below that, so I think most people will be fine controlling the dryer.

Yes you can, please make sure you use the correct adapters at the back, there are 3 types supplied with the plate and there is definitely a version for your situation.
Hello, I bought the stacking plate and it fits perfectly on my washer F14WM7LN0. Can a dryer RH8D13WH be staked on it? I see that all LG dryers are bigger in terms of depth. Washer is 56mm and dryer is 61mm. Will that work or can you recommend another LG dryer? thanks
Yes it should fit. Although visually it will not completely match your washer. Basically any LG dryer originally sold in Europe in the past years should fit, because the width is similar and for washer sizes the plate comes with the right adapters. I suggest you check the local LG website to choose a model that matches best.

Oops, our mistake, well noted! This is obviously a movie editing error, the tape must be taken off first.

Yes, you can. Almost all recent LG dryers can be stacked on LG washing Machines, the most important thing to remember is that the washing machine should at least be a 60cm wide model.

I'm afraid not, the brackets we have for stacking are only suitable for 55 or 60 CM deep washing machines. So for this model, you would need a machine that handles 10.5 KG's (55 cm) or one for 12 KG's (60 CM)

Yes that is possible. There are different brackets supplied in the box for different washing machine sizes.

The seller advised to use a stacking kit XAVAX Modell-Nr. 111363, but this turned out to be incompatible due to insufficient support width for the dryer feet. The plate used in the video is the LG DSTWH. I suggest you contact your local LG support channels or search the web locally to obtain this plate.

Not sure. Please ask your LG US support channels for support as these are US sold machines. On a side note: you can stack almost all dryers on 55 / 60 cm deep washing machines. You do need a stacking kit; request your local supplier/ LG office if this is included with the dryer.

You mean the washer's drain hose? That should not be a problem as long as you maintain the instructions for the max. drain hose height

Dear Chris, as far as we know, it is only for 24 inch models. Main reason is that these models are lower and lighter, so a column like this, can still be operated normally.
For 27 inch models, LG provides Pedestals if a customer wants to raise the Washer or Dryer.

I've been struggling to find this in the UK. Contacted LG customer service. Aparantly they are sending me a link to some store where I can buy it. This was an hour ago and I have not received any link yet. I have searched the Internet and cannot find any stacking kit from lg available.

Probably not. We do not have the dimensions and position of the Miele legs. But without plate it is possible.

@@AthenesWrath so I brought the universal kit that didn’t work out at all, I spent around £200 on the Miele stack kit with drawer that fitted very sleek on my LG washing machine and my Miele dryer fits perfectly
