I have a few questions about the screws, will it damage the washing machine? Are the screws going through the washing machine? If it is correct, I would like a different accessory, is there an alternative?
It does and it's the only way to do it and the final result is just great. U won't see anything when the dryer is on the washing-machine afterward anyway.
Absolutely agree with you, thats more like a DIY solution, than a professional Miele solution so wtf You can find some other solutions where you dont need to drill holes, but use a strap lol not sure what is better
They have a type of fiber board on the top of the washer it does not do any damage to the washer as long as you follow the guide correctly and have it square on top of the unit. Took 5 minutes brilliant stacking design.
Very helpful and well explained
This tutorial was brilliant, thank you! It was so much easier to follow than the paper instructions, which were in German.
Wie heißt bitte auf Deutsch der Kunststoffsockel, der die beiden Maschinen verbindet?
How do you remove the front panel from the stacking kit if you want to take the tumble dryer off the washer (for example, if you are moving house)?
I used the wtv502 and installation was same as this video which used 501. Happy ending.

What about the screw holes when you decide to remove the dryer?
@@trollmeister69 if you stack it leave it stacked , if you must remove it leave the stacking device screwed into it.
I have to unstack my washer/dryer for moving....how does one get that facia plate off to access the screws?
I'd like an answer to this too. I haven't clipped the fascia in fully yet as I see this being a problem.
You can pry off the face plate even if it clicks into place. I tested this before installing - wanted to be sure it can be removed afterwards 😅
Is this the same guide for the WTV502?
That is my question too
Same yes as I got the WTV502 and followed that video which used the 501, no difference of installation and same final result.
I cant believe it you have to drill holes into a washing machine... :/ looks like more a DIY Solution
SonI have to drill holes in my 1500€ machine?
I have the same question. does this mean that I will lose my warranty?
So, do you need to drill holes into the cover of the machine?
that's absolutely dumb, find a different kit.
Same thoughts, do you know an alternative?
@@yorumustasi I used a few pieces of gorilla tape with the 512.
Can you stack the washer on top of the dryer?
Definitely not. The washing machine is a lot heavier than the dryer and produces tons of vibration during spinning.
