Wow Adana is amazing... It seems like a mix of kaanada and brindavanasaranga.. or something in between these 2 but it's magical... I'm not a person who has learnt music traditionally but I know and can identify a few ragas. Kaanada creates a sensation on top of my head and brindavanasaranga in the middle of my spine. But Adana is starting from the bottom of my spine and connecting to the top of my head. It's highly magical.. in fact mystical.... Great rendering....!!!

It's not copied it's inspired. The origional composers of this tune were properly credited and compensated.
@hst hast.. That's a blatant lie. The descendants of the original composers gave statement that they were NOT compensated. As a matter of fact, the producers of ps2 sent a legal letter denying the copy. It's for us to judge here to the contrary..

@@adarshvs2841 hello coprolite, the song is in Adana Raga. Just search for other songs in the same raga and you would see how other composers managed to compose diverse melodies in the same raga.
Why is it that lazy rahman couldn't compose different melody in the same raga?
The credits even got the spelling of the original song wrong. And even if it's credited to the original composer, why wasn't compensation given to the family?
Did you read the legal reply given by PS2 lawyers?

@@adarshvs2841 As a Carnatic musician myself, it's my responsibility to tell you that just because it's the same ragam, it doesn't have to have the same beats. But ps 2 song is the same as this with just different lyrics. That isn't called 'inspired'.
