Truth be told, I’m conflicted on that option to bet $1000 on a final turn with the gambling chain. I just think teams might become too reliant on it.

Looks like Dylan's hair went the same direction mine did. Just not as quickly. But it's good to see him hosting this again, and this bonus round seemed a lot more fun. Only change I'd make is to drop in letters automatically in the final round, rather than making them say where they want it. This would likely require longer chains or a shorter time limit to compensate, but players were tripped up by letters dropping in unexpectedly -- this doesn't seem to be something the game is meant to test.

Players are never prepared for the bonus round. They guess words without giving letter locations. They waste time saying "letter below ______" instead of just "below" or "above". They waste time by saying the word already shown before their guess. They waste time thinking and going "uh" and "um" instead of guessing quickly and moving on for another letter.
I've only seen one team play the bonus round exactly like you prescribed. Each team member turn didn't last longer than one second so by 3 seconds three or four letters were already on the board making the word easier to guess right. It would not be in the best financial interests of the game show to have contestants to be prepared like them on the show.
Well it's great to have the cash prize in the bonus round be $10,000 like on the original NBC Bill Cullen version. But I think it would be better if the clock made the Pyramid ticking sound like on the Bill Cullen version.
They usually organize all of these types of game shows so that the last rounds mean anyone can still win. In family feud it's hilarious when the same team plays every round but they still lose because the other family steals with one guess
@@TyranBatten This game should have changed the way it scored. It useless how many questions you got right if by the end of the round you still can lose
I did admit Dylan was a bit tough to deal with in the 2006-2007 version. When the Mike Catherwood version came along, I cringed at his hosting, especially when the team gave a good answer and Mike kept screaming "OOOH!" when the guess was not right and the Superchain was near impossible to win. Dylan definitely improved in his return.

Welcome Back Dylan Lane! He's so different!
Exactly. He Shaved His Head & He's Married.
I hardly recognize him.
@@justinhaynes89 yeah
@@scrabblespeedword2180 duh
@@AlexMaxwell2000 Exactly.
This comes like a gambling game so you have to take chances I love the 1000 dollars waver
He looks a lot better than when he was younger and doing this and the set looks awesome too
This version is a whole lot better.
I dont think its a fair game, the boys answered the most questions yet they lost
They usually organize all of these types of game shows so that the last rounds mean anyone can still win.
In family feud it's hilarious when the same team plays every round but they still lose because the other family steals with one guess
A lot of it has to do with the wagering round
@@TyranBatten This game should have changed the way it scored. It useless how many questions you got right if by the end of the round you still can lose
@@anobsessedrangersfan_21 yes.. and to me its so unfair
Girl power wins again!
the speed seems to decrease as opposed to the 2006 version...
btw, a lot of GSN shows now have sets similar to that of Family Feud
In the end Dylan lane always says at the end of the show Reaction time, times flies.
Hear to what Madonna sang on her song Hung Up: time goes by, so slowly.
1 word at a time was tough to deal with.
Used to watch this all the time
It's back and ALL NEW!
Chain Reaction is back!
Chain Reaction (new version) is better.
Wow how did they not get that. I had the thing done after razor !!
Dylan Lane looks different than what he looked like in 2006!
So does this version.
Love love love Dylan
Great and fun game show you got some guessing too do 😊
That's a good guess! But not what we're looking for.
I really like on how decade divas comeback
🤞
The original Theme Song is Needed and Wanted! Lol It was catchy! 🎶
~Queen~
loved the original show. dylan seems to have less energy this time around. the game feels more serious than it did during his first hosting.
I hope it doesnt stay this way
I was screaming mints at thin from the start
😱
Omg i thought the soccer squad will gonna win.. nice game diva
Soccer Squad returned for redemption.
That's a good twist. 🤣
That's an excellent twist!
Omg I used to watch this show and Lingo on GSN
Bingo America - hosted by Patrick Duffy, and then Richard Karn took over.
2:44 "YEAH!"
🙆♂️
@20:03 she didn't say a real word 😂😂😂😂
This game 🎮 show was so fast ⏩ paced.
They really had the balls to replace the perfection that was the 2nd run chain reaction theme
👌
Awesomeness video
in mobile legend, thats an epic comeback hahaha
GSN has been doing a solid job with their originals lately. Yes, this show has come a long way since its first version aired in 2006. That version was painful to watch, honestly.
The early version's bonus round was rough play.
Question: does a team lose the game automatically if they wager everything in their bank, but give a wrong answer?
I believe so.
Oh I m good at this, I know many answers they didnt answered first time!!
Hope they make a game so I can play my self
👨💻
He a new host.never seen him before.
He hosted the "old" version on GSN from 2006 to 2007
Fun and quick game show. Unlike European games shows where the hosts talk fooooooooooorever!
I like Dylan Lane
The host of Chain Reaction
God, Dylan looks different from his previous run.
And this current run is much better.
The lady who bet 500 just blown the dollars away.
ALL IN! ALL OUT.
It doesn’t matter because that team still won
Chain Reaction - where one word leads to another.
The show where some clever wordplay can lead to a big payday.
Weekends at 9am
Glad they brought Dylan back. The host on the last version annoyed me.
Yeah they made a mistake with Mike Catherwood though. He was too goofy and his hosting was a bit cringeworthy.
They also brought back the Speed Chains, by the way.
Dylan Lane hosted the early version.
Who was the annoying host?
I love this game
I love this version of Chain Reaction.
Wish you used the original Bob Cobert theme to this show...
