- No.16 Syracuse fell at home to Notre Dame, 38-24. After QB Garrett Shrader went down with an injury in the 3rd quarter and with the Orange down 24-7, backup Carlos Del Rio-Wilson helped cut the deficit to a touchdown. From there, two more Notre Dame touchdowns and a field goal left the gap too big to make up. RB Sean Tucker was limited to 60 rushing yards and a touchdown.

ND went toe-to-toe with, in my opinion the best team in America. I think Freeman put all of his eggs in one basket against the Buckeyes and they totally beat the Irish down. That beating carried over to the Marshall game. I have no excuse about the Stanford mess. The young talent is there and more on it’s way. I’m have not seen a bulldozer like Eastme since Bettis 30 years ago

@Max შემიწყალე LOL Miami and Virginia had to go to 4 OTs as neither team scored a TD the entire game. Miami's 2 point O/T was also the only points in the second half of that game. Sums up the ACC this year.
@@1timetravelerdown we don't know how Buchner wouldve done with the improvements made by the Oline, so there's literally no reason to think Pyne is better
@@1timetravelerdown I'd say you simply don't know that given the obvious improvement of the Oline over the course of the season. Again, Joe Montana wouldn't have performed well under that kind of pressure from the opposing Dline in the first 2 games and Drew Pyne's performance is as bad as Buchner's WITH tons of time in the pocket

I am pretty sure Garrett Shrader played two drives with a concussion. Look at him try and get up after that huge sack. It's like we didn't learn a thing from Tua and the Dolphins. That would explain the "undisclosed" nature of the injury...

yes we did. did u watch the 2003 game.
@@johndessoye notre dame under preforming the whole year there was certainly a decent chance. Especially only down one score after the 3rd Q. That pick six in the beginning was one major reason it wasn’t closer. Syracuse’s offense was decent enough to win (24 points) but clearly not great defense.
