This is due to the time AMT takes whilst changing gears. The passengers would not feel irritated. It is felt by the driver and for the driver it may be irritating.

I own both cars.. If amt, don't opt for tiago. Not a well tuned gearbox. Celerio amt is way better. Tiago is better than Celerio in every category expect two things. Engine refinement(power, smoothness, acceleration etc) and Amt gearbox. Tiago manual is a good choice. Tiago is at par, sometimes even better than swift in terms of overall quality. But that AMT is simply rubbish.
CNG can be fitted in a manual transmission cars but not sure about AMT. I have not seen any on the road. Though for your information, Tata is road testing Tiago with CNG option and May launch it soon. This CNG was spied with manual transmission as of now.

Hi The experience is fine, the vehicle is reliable. Tiago has been on the roads for years now and no major issue impacting the reliability is reported. Fit and finish is also good. 2 things to note: Tata after sale service is average only. Second, check the drive of AMT as it is best suited for sedate drivers in my opinion. So text drive is recommended for you.
I am not a big fan of Tiago AMT. Maruti AMTs are better in my opinion. Hyundai I have not driven. Better you take a test drive and assess as per your liking/requirement. Thx
I took test drive wagon r & tiago so my height is small so wagon r bonet height is more so i was having issue on visibility...tiago look and feel is awsome music was great feeling that some premium car am inside ...driving was also was good am a beginner so fr me all r same only...but tiago is the frst car i drove fr 3-4km ....

@@amanpreetkaur5213 I am getting 19-20 kmpl on highway whilst driving @ 80-90 KMPH with AC always on. I don’t drive in city, so cannot comment. I have not faced any problem in the vehicle so far. Thx

I am planning to buy our first car.......my monthly running is very very less just for emergency purpose because of elderly people in my house.....and i drive mostly in heavy slow traffic slow ...so i guess build quality is not a big deal in city traffic....and want to keep car more than 10 years.......so please suggest between wagonr and Tiago
Build quality and safety are important in city driving as well. I find engine and inside space of Wagon R better than Tiago. However, as an overall package Tiago is better and offers better value. I suggest you take a test drive and then take a call as per your own family requirements and likings. Also, since it is city driving, you may go for AMT for convenience.
If you are buying an AMT, forget Tiago. It is pretty poor for city conditions. Maruti has tuned their AMTs brilliantly. Safety is a concern with Maruti though. Opt for ignis. Its slightly better than Wagon R and Celerio.
@@satvikkarki7230 Correct. It is the same AMT. My point is everything else is different. The engine, kurb weight, driving dynamics etc all affect the way it performs. Wagon R, Swift, Baleno, Ignis, all have same engine, the K12. Do they behave the same? No. Power to weight ratio and torque to weight ratio is different for each vehicle, hence they are behave differently.

@@sksingh5768 I am personally not a big fan of Tata AMT gear box. Tiago manual is good. Altria turbo is in a different league as it has much more powerful engine. Aap Test drive lijiye, individual preferences pe bahut depend karta hai. Tabhi aap decide kar payenge.

Abhi tak koi maintenance cost nahi hai AMT ki. Regular servicing ki cost hai. I suggest you to take a test drive of AMT before buying it.
Hi - when you say jerks during gear shifts, how much does it really jerk? Is it to the extent where the passengers feel irritated?

I would go with Tiago . Engine performance Celerio ki better ho sakti hai but overall dekha jaaye to Tiago better package lagta hai mujhe.

Right foot on the accelerator and left is on the break... I drive with both atleast 80% of the time ..

Yes, that is the problem, don’t think so as engine and transmission have not received any significant update.
