  • How To Make GOOGLE NEST AUDIO Portable (Battery Pack Build)
The Nest Audio is one of my favorite wireless/bluetooth speaker right now and the only two things missing from this speaker are an AUX input and a built in battery. I can't do much about the lack of AUX input but building a battery is not that complicated. This will allow you to bring the speaker to different rooms without being tied to an AC outlet. Heck, you can even take it to a picnic. Overall, fantastic little speaker with a Huge sound. Kudos to Google for the great hardware and tuning, but add an AUX input next time, please! Oh and fix the audio delay when connected to a TV.
The wiring of the 6s battery pack is not difficult. You'll have the wiring diagram when you buy the 6s BMS. Some soldering experience is needed. Don't heat up the 18650 cells, only solder to the nickel tabs. Batteries contain a lot of energy so wiring the cells or circuits incorrectly it can short circuit and catch fire. I'm not responsible if anything like this happens, attempt this build at your own risk. If you're not experienced with electronic builds it's best to ask someone that is for some help. Forums are also a good source of information.

Sounds like a cool project! Make a video about the process as well, why not!

sure! don't know if it will get much attention, but i might as well since modding the nest audio seems to be rare @@AudioCuriosity
